Aubrey's is the best value restaurant anywhere. The cheapest? No, but it's not expensive. The biggest value is the food, but the entire experience is outstanding. My wife and I together must have tried half the menu by now. Nothing disappoints, literally nothing, in any visit over the last couple of years. Not the food quality. Not the service. Not the atmosphere. Nothing. This evening, I got the salmon with a side of coleslaw for the first time. The salmon was high quality and cooked to perfection. The coleslaw is unique and delicious, with a perfect texture, and the added tang of what seems to be Granny Smith apples. Even the "bed of rice" was perfect in temperature, seasoning, and texture. None of that mushy or extra crisp stuff you often get from rice that's been lying around. My wife got the cranberry chicken salad with house-made balsamic vinaigrette. The greens were prepared as if they mattered. Not a bruised or wilted sprout in the bunch. Aubrey's is good for that exact reason. Some places bury their low-quality food in dressings and spices to mask the mediocre core ingredients. Aubrey's let's the quality meat, fish, etc. shine through. They're uniquely seasoned and perfectly prepared. And who could leave out staples like the Thunder Road burger or their thick cut potato chips, which are too unique to describe. If you're visiting East Tennessee, there is no better place to visit than Aubrey's - where the locals eat!

This was probably our third visit here in a year. We've never had a disappointing meal. Actually, it's always been very good. Today my wife had the filet mignon with a baked potato, both of which were very nice. I had the fish and chips which was Alaskan Pollock. Huge portion and very good. The fish was cooked perfectly, not mushy and not turned to shoe leather. The chips were definitely a notch above the typical French fries. They are sliced potato, chip shaped and double fried I believe. Crispy outside and still potato like on the inside. Ample refills on the drinks. The only slightly weird thing was that they serve you bread, a roll, before the meal. There were two of us and the wait person brought one roll on a plate. I noticed on tables nearby, that the number of rolls matched the number of diners. Now, that being said, we had plenty to eat so it was not a problem for us. Now, that picture was taken after I ate three pieces of fish and some chips, just to give an idea of the size of the portions. Update we went there again and once again, the food was excellent. We had the Buttermilk Chicken Breast with baked potato and the Meatloaf. Both were great. The chicken was perfectly moist which for a breast, could possibly not always be the case. Both meals were piping hot when served. The baked potato was done perfectly as well.

Aubrey’s is an excellent restaurant to visit if you are in Morristown. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is top-notch. We started with their spinach con queso, and their freshly made bread. The spinach was extremely flavorful and the chips were nicely fried and salted. I really enjoy their bread as it’s slightly sweet and paired with a butter that also has sugar in it. We then got a variety of entrées, including salads, salmon, tacos, Reuben, sandwiches, and multiple sides. Everything was spot on and delicious. The salmon tacos are very soft and flavorful with the salsa. The Reuben is thick, juicy, and the dressing has a nice tang. The salads are fresh and crisp. And all of their sides are excellent. I highly recommend their sweet potato fries, squash casserole, sautéed mushrooms, french fries, steamed, broccoli, macaroni, tomato, bisque, and baked potato. You can’t go wrong with any of those. We then end of the meal with a nice chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel sauce. The cake was really warm, and the ice cream quality was very creamy. Our server, Timmy, did an absolutely fantastic job throughout our meal, constantly checking on us, and ensuring that we had everything that we ordered. He also offered to take pictures of us, as we were struggling to do it ourselves. He is great!

My husband and I dined at Aubrey’s for the first time last Friday night. We’ve only lived in Morristown for a short bit and wanted to try someplace new to us and more locally recognized - not a chain restaurant that is well-known nationwide. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by friendly hostesses. We noticed a “call ahead” blackboard at the host stand so next time we will consider calling ahead to avoid a wait due to crowds, especially on weekends. We had a short wait due to our request for a booth, but were soon escorted to the table. Our waitress, Reigan, promptly greeted us and that is when our “visit” became “personal.” Reigan was one of the best servers we have ever encountered. Her friendly and courteous personality defined hospitality. Her knowledge of the menu and willingness to explain how specific selections were prepared helped us to narrow our choices since everything on Aubrey’s menu was appealing. Since the food is prepared from fresh, farm to table, ingredients, we wanted to sample the many offered side dishes. Aubrey’s offers a significant discount when ordering up to four sides. Since our chicken tender meal came with two sides, we added four more to give us our own personal buffet. We ordered one chicken tender dinner (6 strips), a caesar’s salad, mashed potatoes, squash casserole, broccoli, coleslaw, and tomato bisque. All portions were large enough to share and each item was delectable. Not one was left unfinished. If choosing my favorite…it would be the coleslaw. Made with the addition of apples and red onions, a basic coleslaw turned into a unique burst of flavors that did not disappoint. My husband’s favorite…the tomato bisque. While our plates were filled with samplings of delicious foods, it brought memories of family potluck dinners, or Thanjsgiving where everyone brings a homemade favorite to share and all the flavors complement each other. The draft beer selection was also superb. Plenty of choices, ranging from lagers to ales. My ale with chocolate and caramel notes was delicious. The wine list looked amazing, as well. After enjoying such a wonderfully prepared dinner, it was decided we could not leave without trying a dessert. Reigan, again, shared her knowledge about each selection and we decided on the peanut butter pie. Not the best we’ve ever had but it, too, was made to perfection. Throughout our relaxed dining experience, Reigan continually checked on us, removing empty dishes and refilling our water glasses. Although Reigan was very friendly and willing to share in conversation, she perfectly discerned when to engage and when to clear a plate without interruption, thus providing the opportunity for a more intimate experience. The ambiance in the restaurant, along with the table space between other guests, added to that quieter, more personal experience. After dining at Aubrey’s, we can confidently state that the price point of each entree is reasonable and well-worth the money based on the exceptional service we received, the quality and presentation of the food, and the design and cleanliness of the establishment. We highly recommend you dine at Aubrey’s - it will be a personal experience, not...

Aubrey’s Morristown-TN

We ate here on Saturday 8/24/24. There were 8 of us. One of which is my developmentally disabled sister so she can get a little loud sometimes and some people don’t always know how to act around her or take her.

From the moment we all walked in we were all treated with great respect and kindness from the hostess to the waiter to other staff as we were leaving. Anyone who has a family member like this knows how important and rare this can be.

Now for the important stuff the rest of you care about. The food was absolutely amazing. There were eight of us so we had a variety of dishes. There was Asian Chicken Salad, Patty Melts, Fish and Chips, Tenders and fries, Tomato Basil Pasta, Baked potato soup and Caesar salad, Classic Cheese burger and fries, and homemade “chips” and nachos for appetizers.

Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! The “chips” were to die for! They are sliced potatoes fried crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside and seasoned with the best blend of spices!! Not spicy just yummy!

My husband stated the burger in his patty melt was the “best burger I’ve ever eaten”! He can’t stand any pink in his meat so he’s used to eating charcoal mostly for burgers and steaks. But this patty melt he got he described as being well done but still juicy and had the best “crisp” edges and crust and full of flavor. I tried my daughter’s potato soup and it was heavenly! I don’t know what it was seasoned with but it was a very unique blend and it was very very good! The portions are generous! Everyone but my husband and father in law had to get boxes to go.

Our server was attentive without being intrusive x kept all 8 of us with glasses filled at all times. Food served hot and timely. We spent almost 2 hours there for a family luncheon and enjoyed every minute of it.

It’s got a really nice bar and a variety of drink choices if you feel like a cocktail, daily specials, very clean and modern but inviting decor.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve enjoyed a restaurant so thoroughly. If you are looking for a nice lunch or evening out I HIGHLY recommend you try Aubrey’s! I know we for sure can’t wait to go back! And you HAVE to get...

First impressions make a big impression. Cleanliness of the restaurant would be at a 2/5. Trash cans overflowing in the bathrooms. Carpet in dining area looks as if they never knew what a carpet cleaner was. Waited about 35mins to receive our meal. Couple that sat behind us after we had been there for about 10-15mins and received their food way before us. All we ordered was the spinach dip and chips appetizer. The Carolina Catfish with sweet potato fries and mac n cheese as sides. Fish was hot, fries were cold. Mac n cheese was very bland. Fiancé ordered the Salmon tacos with a Caesar salad as a side. The salad was completely forgotten. Had to remind them that it was with the meal. The Salmon Tacos had animal hair in it. I saw it and pulled it out right infront of the manager right after she gave us the food and before she left to replace it. When the tacos came back they were not hot, but rather barely warm. I suspect but have no proof that they were not remade. Took about 45mins to get our main meal but then when tacos were returned and brought back it was around 10mins. Waitress didn't know anything about the menu apparently. I had asked what kind of cheese the mac n cheese had in it and she had no clue. She was somewhat attentive during the service but seemed to be distant as in avoiding customers. We still tipped about 15-20%. As a person that has worked in the food industry for over 15yrs I was shocked at how bad this restaurant was overall in all aspects. We will not be returning. I will also add that nothing was deducted from the bill nor did I ask for anything to be deducted. I was not trying to get anything for free. At the time of our dining experience the restaurant wasn't even at half capacity so not busy at all. We got there about 5:50pm and left at 7 not too long after eating. Fiancé didn't even finish her food. "adding this part in the next day at 6:30pm." About 2hrs after we got home I ended up with terrible stomach cramps. Lots of runs to the bathroom. No vomiting. Fiancé ended up with the same results overnight. As far as I can tell we both got food poisoning on a medium scale. This is unacceptable....
