Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Morristown

Went to the Morristown Chilis on 3-15-2023 and had the worst experience ever!!! Our sever arrived at the table and took our order on a timely manner. They apparently have designated food runners. Our appetizers came out promptly, our food followed quickly after. Our server walked by and asked as she is walking if everything was OK. We had to stop her to order another drink and that was the last of our assigned server until after the 4th request of needing our check. I had requested for a manager to come to the table and when she finally arrived she slammed her hands down on the two corners of the table and asked what the problem was. She wasn't there to make anything better. She was very unprofessional, we had requested a manager and it took her more than 15 minutes to come by. She had been standing in the door way that led into the bar / to go area talking. When she did make it to the table she tried to say she was assisting out server in splitting our check. Which was not true because we had not even been asked if we wanted out check split, which we did not. The food was good and the host that night was fabulous. But the server and the MOD were not. I would hope that someone takes time to speak to the manager from that night on how to make a situation better not worse. I did not want anything for free!!! I just simply wanted someone to understand the frustration. Maybe if the manager hadnot allowed the server to be seated to an overwhelming amount she would have been able to give the service needed. First off the wait was 45 minutes (during the week). My sister and I were celebrating our little brothers 11th birthday. We were a party of 5 with 3 (8-11 years olds) and 2 adults.

We were so hyped to come here and celebrate his birthday. This Morristown location is awfully tiny (inside is the size of a 2 car garage).

Once I received the text that our table was ready at 7:17 we were seated to our table and waiting 15 mins for our drink order to be taken. Overall the waiter was really trying his best to be attentive with the kids and his entire section.

What do you expect when going somewhere for your birthday? Of course, table side happy birthday cheer and fingers crossed they provide some type of free dessert.

How awful is this! They waiter said - would you like for us to come over and sing? My little brother was like - yes! The waiter mentioned you will even get a free scoop of icecream.

As you can tell in the copy of my receipt I was charged extra for 3 things!!! Kids size molten cake (should have been $2.49 vs. $5.99) Birthday Scoop (should have been FREE vs. $1.49) Table Entertainment (Seriously?! Should have been FREE vs. $1.99)

We waited 1.5 hours for our food! Another 30 mins for dessert. The only pro of this was their $5 margarita.

Time Wasted (3 hrs): 45 min wait, 1.5 hour waiting for food, 30 mins to eat food, 30 mins for dessert, 20 mins to receive check.

Do not go here to waste your time and be charged...

Horrible service, we were told 15-20 mins waited 50mins, then I liked that they bought out the kids food quickly because we know kids can get cranky, but then mine and my oldest didn't come out til 20 mins later would have been better if our came out shortly after the kids but they were finish by the time ours came out, then my poor husband had to wait almost another 20-30 mins before his food came out and half his food was missing from it.. The kids food was good, mine and my oldest burgers were burnt and hard to crew and swallow, my husbands food was half missing, we said forget it and just charge us for the two instead of three that he ordered for his meal, my husbands ribs werent very taste despite the fact that chilis is suppose to be known for their ribs, we ordered dessert to go as my son and I got the 2 for 25 deal, so the cheese cake was good, my husband ordered the paradise pie, which is suppose to have a scope of ice cream on top and he did not get that either so we just said screw when the waiter asked if we wanted it, when our waitress gave us the check before we received the dessert, she took our card and bought us back the receipts, but then just kept walking by, and lookin for my husband to put down the receipt he had signed and lookin for her tip, that's all she wanted.
