We came in around 5 for an early dinner. The restaurant was not busy by any standards, some light bar crowd and a couple of tables. As far as I was able to discern there was only one waiter tending to the tables. He was very attentive, no waiting, no hovering either. We placed our drink orders and ordered our choices. {Sidenote: Having a curtain by the door would help the ice cold draft that comes in every time the door opens!! We sat right in the draft!} The burger and fries were good, a soup- that was supposed to be corn chowder- was made with clam juice and had a handful of corn added, which does NOT turn it magically into corn chowder! To top it off it was barely warm, which was quickly corrected by our waiter after I mentioned it. I did not mention this to the waiter, he was busy enough...and I was hungry. Fries that were ordered instead of chips arrived after we mentioned it to the waiter, but the ordered mayonnaise did not. The Roastbeef Panini was a greasy soggy affair, very bland as well. Fettucine Carbonara was a big heavy blob of pasta with way to much reduced heavy cream and bacon. The taste of the bacon was rather odd, unexplainable really. The garlic dots were fabulous though! Also like the hand cut fries. I used to come in for dinner before covid and this was not the memory I had! The rating is for the service, garlic knots and fries. Everything else was rather...
Read moreIn my opinion, you should be able to eat a sandwich while you’re driving. Do not try to order a hot sandwich from this restaurant and eat it while you’re driving. The flavor of the sandwich was good, but the eating experience was not. I don’t know what they put on the sandwich, but it was so wet, and it was not wrapped separately within the outer wrapping And I spilled what felt like a half a liter of sauce all over myself trying to eat this while I’m driving kind of sucked. I feel like if you’re gonna eat a sandwich, you should be able to eat it with your hands, and driving or not, there is no possible way you would ever be able to eat this sandwich with your hands, it was slipping all over the place. It was wet. I picked it up piping hot, and the bread was already soggy when I picked it up overall, a wet sandwich, and left me with really dirty pants, dirty car seat, dirty steering wheel and really annoyed.
You might say it’s my fault, but I’ve never had this issue with Burger King, Taco Bell, McDonald, chicken salad, pbj… whatever. You should be able to eat a sandwich while you drive.
I’d order something else, if you’re planning to eat while you’re driving. It tasted good, but they gotta learn how to make a sandwich you can eat...
Read moreHoagies in Morrisville has always seemed to be hit or miss, in other towns the food is great. Idk If they have too many cooks in the kitchen but the food is very inconsistent. Today I got a toasted grinder and you'd think they would have added the veggies after it was toasted right? Nope I got a 10$ sandwich With soggy disgusting lettuce and tomatoes that had been toasted in the oven with my sandwich. Left the restaurant and ate my food within ten minutes and the bread on my sub was completely soggy and falling apart(I also got it dry and toasted so this didnt happen but obviously my efforts were for nothing) this will be out last time ordering here. Last time we got a "large poutine" and payed 8$ for probly 12 fries smothered in gravy and barely any cheese. Come on y'all get your stuff together we don't have many options in town wish at least one could be consistent and offer good food. Also watch take out orders they like to add your tip in without asking you mine was almost a 6$ tip on a 16$ order and I didn't even request to leave a tip always add your orders up before...
