Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Morristown

We've tried THREE different times and had a terrible experience each time! The first time we called in 2 pizzas and were told aprox 20 min. Get there and one of our pizzas was in the warmer and was told it'd be a few mins on the other. Was told to go outside, as social distancing was in effect. We stood in the cold and watches numerous others go in, wait, get their food and leave. After waiting 20 more mins and asking twice if it was ready the lady "couldnt find" our other pizza. Was told it was JUST being put in the oven! We ask for a refund because it had been an hour since first ordering, our other pizza sat in the warmer all that time and they ask us to wait even longer to make the 2nd with no apology, nothing! Acted as if we were an inconvenience. 2nd time we got delivery, food, delivery time and service was ok but my fiancee was so sick the next morning he was in the restroom, and vomiting. Had to miss a days work! 3rd time we got delivery, ordered online, aprox time was 20-30 min. We got notified our pizza was sent out at 9:30, called them at 10 and they said its on the way (we live literally 2 mins or less from the store) Called back at 10:15 and was told they were closed so I told her we still hadnt got our order she said hold on and we'll call the driver. She said shes "2 minutes away" Waited another 10 min before she showed. Our pizza was ok, cheese sticks were too burned to eat, and the garlic knots were hard! And today we're running back and forth to the restroom and vomiting! Im very disappointed! Pizza Huts always been my favorite pizza even though its a lil more expensive than most. Wasted $32 and my family went to bed hungry because it was too late for...

I order here once or twice a month generally. A couple things-

1. Please read the instructions on the orders. A lot of the time I ask for extra sauce and hardly get any- or ask for a crust topper and get none.

2. The most annoying thing I have experienced here is ordering cinnastix and showing up and being offered Cinnabons since they are out. I actually think this is an incredibly poor solution- since I was never called and asked if this would work. So as a result food literally gets wasted because I am not going to eat it. I do not eat any dairy. Our phone numbers are on our orders please call if there are issues instead of assuming.

3. If the dough has not proofed and is not ready to be used- please call. There are other types of crusts.

This store does a pretty good volume for our location. So despite a few of the issues I have had I will say they generally do a good job. Their beyond sausage is awesome. I add black olives and pineapple. No cheese. And it is incredible. Not healthy. But man it's good. Staff is friendly. Orders are completely quickly. I would just rather wait a couple extra minutes and get a courtesy call if something is wrong so we can resolve it instead of arriving to something I didn't really want.

I would leave a zero star rating if I could. My household has ordered from this location numerous times and never had any issues with the delivery person finding our house. We live in a very well known subdivision that is not difficult to find. After an hour of our pizza not being here I went to check my phone, I’m a mom so I forgot to turn my ringer on, it’s a habit of leaving it on silent since I am a mom and don’t want it to wake my child if a asleep which she was in the case. I called Pizza Hut and they told me the address I provided took them to a warehouse, I was actually speaking to the driver. They then returned my pizza, voided the ordered and I would have to re-ring up the order and wait another 45 minutes for our dinner to be delivered. I spoke with the manager Vicki who apparently needs training herself on how to be a manager and handle escalated situations. She told me this issue was my fault, that I would need to re-order and they would deliver in 30-45. The rudeness I received not only from the driver that answered and the manager was ridiculous. I will never order from here again and will advise my family and friends of their rude staff...
