A1 HIBACHI GRILL — Restaurant in Morristown

This is only the 2nd review I have ever done. The 1st one was on Dr. Hewitt (He saved my cat. Great veterinarian) I went to A1 Hibachi Grill Friday night. We just wanted to try somewhere new. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! Everything we ordered was amazing. I sat at the front and waited until my order was ready. I was able to see how things operated. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. I also noticed that the young man who took my order (which was very nice), opened each container before it left the restaurant to make sure the order was correct. One order had the wrong sauce in it and he corrected it before the order went out. You could tell, he took pride in things he did. We ordered several different items to sample. We were NOT disappointed in anything. Just give it a try. You don’t have much to loose, but a lot to gain. You never know...

Items ordered: Hibachi Steak w veggies & fried rice, Hibachi Shrimp w veggies and fried rice(not pictured, but take my word on the shrimp looked and tastes AMAZING), 5 piece order of Crab Rangoons, extra order of shrimp sauce. Total: $35. Each of these plates weigh at least 3lbs lol. Portions are very much worth the $12.50 a plate! Steak is NOT over cooked & actually has flavor, same with the shrimp plate!! Crab rangoons are decently sized, taste great, & $5.75 for a 5 piece. Very affordable, large portions, tasty foods, great & quick/accurate service. Compared to Akitas, much more affordable AND the food is better flavored, plus more even+larger portions, imo. Plus, the meat is fresh, not frozen!!Your plate has plenty of meat & not just rice. I will definitely be ordering here...

Went here for lunch this afternoon (opening day) and it was great! Ordering inside is a similar experience as ordering in at akita, fast food type ordering which was quick. Very pleasant staff. Restaurant was very clean. Condiment station for self serve fountain drinks, silverware, soy sauce, duck sauce, hot mustard, even to-go boxes were self serve. Designated area to take plates yourself and dispose of trash when finished. Szechuan Chicken and Garlic sauce chicken was amazing (especially the Szechuan, could have been spicier though) ! Food was served very quickly. Was not a fan of the spring rolls but I believe that was just personal preference. Will definitely be back! We normally frequent Emma’s but this will become a regular visit...
