Stopped in for breakfast. Definitely have a lot of options to choose from as this place is much more than your typical small town cafe. It's set up like a cafeteria, so you order at the counter. When your food is done, they call your name, and you pick it up from the counter. I ordered a combo that included eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. Also had coffee to drink. I went to pick up my order after hearing my name called, and the lady who had my order was not happy with the way the bacon was cooked. It was a little on the soggy side. She asked if I wanted it more crispy. I said sure, and she delivered a plate that had crispy bacon. The food was good. The eggs cooked just right, over easy with nice runny yolks. The only negative was when I sat down in the booth, there was an unpleasant smell that lingered for a few minutes. I'm not sure if this was from a previous guest or if the area just needed to be cleaned a little better. Overall, a good meal with employees who are looking out for the customers to make sure the food is cooked to their liking. Would recommend to someone looking for a breakfast spot with reasonable prices.

A rare local top tier NJ style deli and diner like place w great value. Pure New Jersey feel w friendly and sometimes barking staff. It’s real fun The food is everyday stuff but at a nice quality and a truly fair price. A great balance. They aren’t trying to price gouge like many others. It shows a respect they to their customers. The Italian sub was delightful, soft fresher bread, solid meats, the works. The omelet was cooked right, cheesy, good. It’s order at the counter and then sit. All works nicely. All in an Unpretentious been-here-for-generations feel. Joints like this give me hope for restaurants in this country. An honest, real place - the kind of thing that deserve to last

Good food but it would be nice if they got my order right. Order is made wrong almost every time.

I'm editing my review after speaking with the manager. I originally gave 3 stars changed it to 1 star. As I mentioned my order is made wrong consistently. I order the same breakfast sandwich all the time. On one occasion I called and spoke with a lady and explained the situation, she wasn't very pleasant, she was actually rude and dismissive. She told me to bring the sandwich back. My husband took the sandwich back waited for a new one and when he was leaving she told him he wasn't charged for the extra cheese on the original order. He just looked at her. We ordered a sandwich, it was wrong, had to take it back and wait for another one and you're going to charge for the extra cheese because you didn't the first time. UNBELIEVABLE. And he said she was extremely rude. Today I called and spoke with the manager explained how my sandwich is consistently wrong and he basically said he didn't believe it was wrong most of the time. Oh okay. He offered to give me a credit, never asked my name and I had to ask for his. He also told me we should check the order before we leave. That way if it was wrong he could check to see how the order was written. I guess if we go back I'll see if I get that credit. Debatable especially if the lady is behind the counter. After I hung up I checked the reviews and wrong orders seem to be a pattern. Unfortunate because Ben's is a long standing Morrisville business. I...

As a visitor from the south, this establishment left me less than impressed. I ordered the biscuits and gravy platter, and as early in the morning as it was, I expected the food to be fresh and hot. The biscuits were obviously just reheated frozen biscuits, the gravy was packaged gravy and was crusty, the two sausage links that came with my meal were still raw in their centers, and the scrambled eggs were not very scrambled (chopping up fried eggs after they've been cooked does not make them scrambled) and the coffee tasted like hot water instead of coffee. The food all seemed as if it had been pre-made the day before and just placed under heating lamps or thrown in the microwave. After all of the hype I have heard about this place, I was considerably let down by my experience. It may be a great place in the eyes of the locals, but it is not a place I would...
