This 1-star is for the owner! NOT the staff. I hope it gets their attention.

I felt bad for the 1 tall guy doing the front desk. He just didn't have a second to breath, talk to customers, and he became frustrated because of people trying to get this attention when he's just trying to seat people and work the logistics. The guy's t-shirt was getting wet from the sweat!

Dear owner, how can you treat your staff like this? In this day and age, you are lucky to have a line out the door. But you don't have a way to make sure that the customers are being taken care of? You should have at least 2-3 front staffs, and probably for your ice cream station instead of having him double duty of dosa and ice cream.

When I got on to the wait list, it showed 15-30 minutes. After 1 hour, I finally got the attention of your 1 front desk, and told him that it's been an hour, and he said, I know, come with me. After scrolling down the screen of his wait list, he finally got to our name, but if he hadn't, I'm sure I'd have been waiting for another 45-60 minutes!

LCD's are pretty in-expensive these days, just have a display with the person that's being seated. There are people that had joined the waitlist from home, some of them didn't show up for 20 minutes after they were called, and the were seated before the people that were waiting there - since you don't take reservations. Looks like you can join the waitlist from on-line. But if they don't show up with-in 5 minutes of notification, move on!

You, the OWNER, NEEDS TO DO BETTER. Don't stress out your staff like this, they were flying everywhere trying to give the customers the best experience, and I just felt bad for them because YOU THE OWNER haven't enabled them to do that.

I can't see myself going there again, and even talked to a few other families who just left after waiting their promised wait time.

I don't think this will mean anything for you since you have a big customer base right now, but with declining quality of the flavor of the food, and having a worse customer experience than a fast food place, how long will you have loyal patrons for your business?

We all want you to continue to succeed, because we want a good place to eat in peace and without frustration. We want to see the staff with a smile on their face, and give them the chance to actually have the customer feel welcomed into the establishment. But that didn't happen today. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER, first for your staff, and for...

Extremely disappointed and humiliated the way the staff treated us in the billing counter. First of all, we are big fan of Nagas.. I been telling my workplace about this restaurant and food tasty.. But never know I will hate this restaurant such a short span.. So, This is what happened we had buffet lunch on yesterday(Friday) and today(Saturday). They didn’t charge for my kid (2 years old) on Friday but today they added kid’s buffet price as she tasted a cotton candy it seems. We simply asked is it really kids price for 2 year old baby for the cotton candy.. The person in the counter moved with some anger and frustration, and he simply removed the kids price and ask me to pay only for two of us and left the kiosk.. He didn’t wait for us to complete the payment… i thought it’s not fair, we are okay to pay for the kid if it really needed.. Once he returned, I asked him why are u angry and we just asked because it’s different yesterday and today.. In the meantime, my wife got upset of us being treated and said it’s not good the way you handling it, we are ready to pay for my kid, just asking the reason is fair for the amount.. He said u r talking this way, then I m going to charge for ur kid and he created a bill for the kid and we paid finally.. So, what kind of behavior is this? .. One more, there is a lady who ask in the middle of buffet, shall I charge you? One Family who ate opposite of us got extremely unfair of being charged when we are having plate and spoons in the hand.. In my lifetime, first time seeing payments are being done during the middle of food.. you could have introduce token system prior to start the meal if u r not trusting ur customers.. I know ur place is always crowded and having good response, so you don’t worry about customer complaints.. but please treat ur customers with little humanity.. With humility we just left the place.. Thanks for teaching us the...

Summary: This is by far the best Indian buffet I have eaten in the Triangle area in the last 4.5 years. (My review will be mostly buffet based since I did not try their a la carte options yet.)

Details: The restaurant opened few months ago. They offer lunch buffet both on weekends and weekdays. Weekend buffet is pricier and comes with more options. They offer a la carte too during dinner.

Price: Before tax, weekday buffet costs $15.99 and weekend buffet is something around $21.

Customer service: Very friendly, no complaint so far.

Ambience: Quite nice, at least as good as other Indian restaurants I have visited around here. Also, they are very careful about cleanliness.

Food variety: I have only attached photos from my weekdays visit but I'll write both about weekdays and weekend. During the weekend, they offer more than 30 menu items including lots of appetizers, entrees, desserts. The weekend menu includes delicacies like biryani (mutton, chicken, veg), crab, squid, fried fish, chicken tandoori, mutton curry, etc. During weekdays, there are around 15+ items including biryani (chicken, veg). In frame: Idli, Vada, Samosa, Veg chowmein, White rice, Lemon rice, Butter naan, Chicken 65, Kadai paneer, Chicken curry, Green chili chicken, Butter chicken, Chicken biryani, Gulab jamun, some mango dessert, cut fruits. Besides these, they also had lots of chutneys, lemonade, some veg options that I did not try.

Food quality: The food quality is the best among all the Indian buffets I have visited around the Triangle area in the last 4.5 years. The only think I did not like is the spiciness of the chicken biryani, but I might have visited on an outlier day. Their chicken tandoori is like none other I have eaten around here, it's really good. I don't want to go over every item, but as I said I really liked 95% of the items.

Overall: A must visit place if you want to visit an...

ZERO STARS — if I could give negative, I would. This place is massively overrated. Don’t be fooled by the crowd or the menu length — quantity doesn’t mean quality. Out of the many dishes, maybe one or two were remotely decent. The rest were bland, lukewarm, and forgettable. The restaurant itself? Filthy. Tables not cleaned, food on the floor, trash bins full — zero sense of cleanliness or hygiene. Add to that a non-functioning air conditioner, and it felt like dining in a sweaty mess of chaos. And speaking of chaos — crowd management is a disaster. No refills even at 2:30 PM, and the staff looked overwhelmed and uninterested. But the most unacceptable part? The people serving food weren’t wearing gloves or any kind of protective gear. That’s a serious food safety issue. Now, let’s talk about the front desk guy. Hands down the rudest, most arrogant, condescending person I’ve encountered at any restaurant. He talks like he’s doing you a favor, as if this is a charity kitchen and we’re eating for free. News flash: We’re paying customers, and basic courtesy is not optional — it’s fundamental to the service industry. If you can’t treat people with respect, you have no business running a restaurant. This place needs a serious reset — in attitude, hygiene, operations, and food quality. Until then, avoid at all costs. You’re better off anywhere else.

Disappointing Experience – Quality Has Declined We ordered Vijayawada chicken biryani, mutton sukha, and a couple of other items, but the experience was far from satisfactory. First, they completely forgot to prepare the biryani. When we arrived for pickup, they realized their mistake and made us wait for an hour. Even after that long wait, the biryani was subpar. It felt like they hastily mixed rice and chicken instead of properly preparing it in advance. The ratio was completely off—about 75% chicken and only 25% rice, which is not how a decent biryani should be served. We had to make do with whatever rice was available while struggling with the imbalance. The mutton sukha was even worse—undercooked, tough, and rubbery, making it nearly impossible to chew. The only saving grace of the meal was the garlic naan, which we paired with a home-cooked curry. When I called to give feedback, the person on the phone was indifferent, offering rice or a refund instead of acknowledging the issue. We don’t order food for refunds—we order to enjoy a meal with family and friends. I've had great experiences with Nagas in the past, but over the last year, the quality has noticeably declined. Hope they take customer feedback seriously and improve their standards.
