I love coming to this place! I used to work by the airport & would try to come grab food here when I could. Now, I work at a different place & try to come back at least a few times during the week. Something about the tortillas, I really like. The wonderful ladies are usually back there making them from scratch & you definitely can taste the difference compared to other taco/burrito places. The guys back there work hard, cooking and preparing too. The ladies at the front are sweet & take good care of you. They can be in a rush (can't blame them since a lot of people are in & out) but they still take care of everyone. I love that it's not just latino/hispanics buying from here. You'll come in to see any/everyone ordering with a certain favorite that they love. Give yourself about 10-15 minutes when you come, because everything is made fresh & the traffic light may give you a wait. The cooks don't rush, but they are pretty quick for making fresh, homemade food. I eat from here & usually feel a lot better than when I grab food from fast-food places. It's real food, so your body actually wants it & can process it better than processed junk food. It also is pretty filling! Can't brag enough about this place. It's great for what it is. Price is reasonable, not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. It's very doable...
Read morePortions are much smaller and more expensive than I typically get at other local Mexican restaurants, which is disappointing for a restaurant in a gas station. The food is average and nothing to separate it from the competition. Service is slow even though there's at least 8 people working, expect to wait at least 15 minutes even though you're the only person there. The breakfast burritos, while I appreciate that they are offered, are very small. You can eat one in three large bites, but they will they will set you back about $4.50 each. They charge extra for ANY salsa you request ($0.50 for an underfilled 2 oz cup) which I have NEVER experienced at any Mexican establishment, ever. I probably would not return after multiple visits. There is cheaper and better food, larger portion sizes, and better atmospheres for authentic Mexican food just a short distance away. This is "authentic" Mexican food for the...
Read moreI have been coming here for years (since 2015). The breakfast burritos are to die for (my ex-boss used to jokingly refer to them as "crack burritos"). I usually get 2 of the chorizo, beans, egg and cheese breakfast burritos with cilantro added. Also, I usually call in my order on the phone so that it is ready to picked up when I arrive. The ordering line during breakfast is pretty long and you can easily end up taking 20 - 30 mins on a busy day to get your breakfast.
2 burritos used to cost $7 when I first came here, now they are $9 AND they charge extra for the little cup of salsa which used to be free before. However, inflation is everywhere and this is understandable. Haven't tried much of their other food but from seeing the lines during breakfast and lunch, one can make their...
