Came here December 7th for dinner. I was celebrating my graduation with family. Party of 15, made reservations. We arrived at the time stated, the restaurant was empty, but we were still not seated right away because they were not ready. Once seated, the waited took so long to come take our order that we decided to go get him because we thought he forgot we were there. Easily 20+ minutes. When the food arrived only 1 was made the the way requested (spice level) and taste was medicore at best. Everyone else had one problem or another. For example, the chana masala was so salty that it was literally inedible. We sent it back alto the kitchen and we got the same chana masala back, only watered down. It was evident from the consistency and the fact that the beans were still salty when eaten without the curry sauce. Also, for the kabob we asked for a spice level of 3/5. We received a sweet (literally like sugar sweet) kabob with no spice. Just a couple of examples. Anyways, our bill was about $200 and we DID NOT tip because the lady who came to pick up our plates kept mumbling to herself "so rude" numerous times. Our guests were highly disappointed in not only the food but most importantly the treatment we received. I am unsure about what she thought was so rude. Possible that we had kids in our party who may have made a mess? Maybe. But definitely not a big mess or I would have noticed and it's definitely inappropriate to act like that as 1: an adult and 2: as a waiter. Even though the food was not good, possibly the worst Indian food I have had, my husband and I still wanted to return the next day to try their buffet to see if we like it better. After the treatment we received at the end, however, we decided not to return and would never recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited this Indian restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the Lamb Biryani I ordered. The dish was bland, the lamb had an unpleasant taste, and it was undercooked, giving it a raw flavor that made it hard to enjoy. The spices, which are usually the highlight of Indian cuisine, were completely missing, and the dish lacked the authentic Indian flavors I was expecting.
Iāve also tried other dishes from this restaurant before, including their Malai Kofta, and that too was a letdown. The dish lacked the rich, creamy texture and the depth of flavor that Malai Kofta should have. The ingredients used didnāt seem fresh, and overall, the food felt underwhelming and poorly prepared.
On top of that, the service was terrible. The waiter who served our food was far from professional and made the experience even worse. His attitude and behavior were off-putting, and he didnāt provide any decent level of service.
If youāre looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine, this place is not the right choice. The food quality is poor, and the dishes just donāt capture the essence of Indian spices...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAMAZING! I walked in a little frazzled and just wanted a pile of takeout without thinking too hard. The staff were kind and efficient, and very helpful with decisions. Partway through my order I realized I needed some dishes without dairy and they were helpful with making adjustments/suggestions. I really can't overstate how wonderful the staff was. They clearly labeled every box! And provided exact amounts of plates, plastic silverware, and extra napkins.
The food came out super fast. We loved all of it. Top contenders were Chicken Tikka Masala, Mango Curry, Vindaloo, Nirvana, and another dish I don't remember. š The Vegetable Samosas are also out of this world!! Perfectly crispy and pillowy on the outside, potato veggie perfection on the inside.
I don't know what the dine-in portions are like, but in our to-go meal we had plenty of food for 5 big eaters (five entrees, rice, and 2 orders of Samosas which come 2 per order). The total was just $100, so about $20/person. We had a tiny bit of food left over.
Definitely 5 stars in our book and I can't wait...
