Pretty shocked at my experience with the drive through service. Not only is there an illuminated sign across town for Taco Time, in which they used to be located, but there is no sign on the street or on the building at the new Taco Time location. Proceeded to use the drive through, and half way through my order the woman just stopped talking to me. I waited 4 minutes to see if she had forgotten about me, I even asked "Are you there?" and got no response. I looked up and saw that all the cars ahead of me had already left the line with their meals. So I proceeded to the pick up window. I immediately asked if they could repeat my order because the woman just stopped talking to me and was met with an attitude driven response as if I did something wrong... And it wasn't even the woman who took my order. I asked for hot sauce, she said it should be in the bag, after I clearly looked in the bag and didn't see some. She proceeded to give me my sauce and just close the pick up window without any follow up response. Terrible service? Sure, but then I get to my burrito 5 minutes later.. Not only was it cold, it was easily half the thickness of a usual burrito from Taco Time, but there was beef scattered on the outside of the burrito. How does one screw that up? Read moreI just got off the phone with Crystal, a supervisor at this Taco Time. I ordered the "3 for $6" deal today, and after they gave me my to-go order, I stayed for a couple extra minutes finishing something up before leaving. I heard Crystal say loudly to her employees that the day's "daily special" was a better deal than the "3 for $6" deal. She instructed everyone to put in specifically what the customer asked for. "That's the way we save a couple bucks," she said. When I called and confirmed what the daily special was, and that she had said the comments above, she tried to get off the phone with me quickly. I said I was very surprised to hear this in a local Moscow business, as I am used to them being customer focused. She said the policy IS customer focused. When I asked her how, she said because they are giving the customer exactly what they ask for. I asked if that means she thinks customers want to pay MORE for their food. Read moreThe service here is quite good the staff is friendly and the food is as expected quite good. The day of cheap fast food is long gone. But they do have reasonable prices when they have sales we recently bought six soft tacos for $12 and that's a chunk of money but we had six meals out of it they were quite good-sized and they're very go to condiments. On their non sale products they do offer military discounts for service. I've never asked for a senior discount there but they may have that as well but not on the discounted prices.
