I would have given 5 stars had the portions been what they were a few months back. All the times previously when the waitress sat you she placed a fresh and hot dish of hushpuppies on the table to enjoy while waiting for your food. They were long as your finger and about as big or bigger round. This time we waited and waited for them to arrive to no avail. When our plates arrived I saw why. They on the bottom of the pile was these round as a quarter sized balls. This time the plate was built with those "hushpuppies" on the bottom and all that you choose for the main dish was stacked on top making it look as if you had huge portions. Just an allusion! I was very disappointed with those oily and hard hushpuppies plus my catfish was not what I was used to getting from there. I couldn't eat eat. I ordered my favorite crispy fried oysters as well but to my surprise was let down once again! They were tough! I have to drive 1 hour to enjoy Libby's but will be thinking about that trip before driving it again. I know that distributors have changed due to COVID but I would at least let the customers...

We were out of town visitors. We both ordered soup. Took a while and only got one. We had to wait for the other. The lady said it was ok because my grilled salmon will take a while anyway. We like to eat our soup while waiting for dinner, not with dinner. Within minutes of getting my soup, my meal came. The server made a comment about it coming late and with my meal. There was this piece of toast on my plate. I asked where my hush puppies were. They said toast comes with grilled food, not hush puppies. I told them it’s not what the menu said. I looked at the menu again online and clearly it states all the meals come with hush puppies and said nothing about toast. The oyster stew was extremely bland. The salmon was overcooked and dry. You get a condiment cup of coleslaw. The hush puppies were small, but good. When I paid our bill at the register, the lady said I didn’t need to sign. The receipt shows several tip amounts to choose. We didn’t get to choose. They took 20%. No tip was even mentioned to us. We like to tip well, but we should choose the amount. We will never...

I went here a few months ago and the food wasn’t too bad. Went today and the food was inedible ! Salad seemed warm and wilted, like it had been sitting out in that bowl a few hours before being served .. slaw tasted spoiled. Clam strips were hard and chewy.. greasy .. I asked for salmon and they brought out what resembled fish sticks .. deep fried, greasy hard chunks they called salmon! What on earth !! I tried to scrape off the outer layer only to find the inside was just as hard and not remotely anything edible. For the price, the food should be so much better !! On a good note the server was nice. The bathroom smelled horrible and the whole place is dark and creepy like an out of date nursing home vibe! Won’t be there again any time soon! I’m posting this after midnight, because I’m still up with a horrible tummy ache from what I did actually manage to eat.. .. also the person up front who seated us and my wheelchair bound little boy had an attitude I didn’t...

The Alaskan whitefish fillet was great, the renowned hush puppies hit the spot, and the unforgettable cole slaw hit me like a breath of fresh ocean air. The service was superb; our waitress was such a sweet lady, who returned several times to be sure we had everything we wanted. The atmosphere was what I love and remember about Libby Hills in Greensboro: the comfortable feel, the substantial sticky bottles of sauce at the table, the scattered beach decorations, and the lingering warmth of large deserted rooms that I can only assume are used for parties. I am honored to have been a guest at the last remaining Libby Hill. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed my visit. I hope this place never closes.

This is the last remaining Libby Hill Seafood Restaurant that is still open for business. Access to the restaurant is available from North and Southbound NC 89, EAST and Westbound Interstate 74 and Northbound US 601 ( Rockford Street ) by the use of Andy Griffith Parkway ( US 52 West ). They have daily fresh cooked seafood specials along with the regular menu. They also have family meal deals to go on their extensive take out menu. Eat in or take out I prefer the catfish, flounder, calabash shrimp,or oysters with baked potato slaw and hush puppies. Also recommend their fish or shrimp sandwiches

Update*** I recently returned & I just want to brag on the service. Meg assisted me & was super kind & helpful. Also I bought the chicken tenders platter this time. It was really good. I got the small but great portions. They are not shy on the condiments also. I inserted a picture below. Good place to eat since I was a child my family has been eating here. Sorry didn’t get a picture of the food. Good portions. They have small and large. I got take out for my Dad. Flounder plate small size with hush puppies and baked potato. Slaw and tartar sauce. It’s good
