Queue Taps, what was once great is now gone. So sad. New ownership. The new owners have painted the interior entirely red which is so off putting, changed the menu, removed everything related to the old owners. Even the wall menu shown in previous review pictures is gone. No more fish. No more chicken. They said kitchen staff remained, but there’s no way they could be true.

Messed up my order so badly. The new women up front were very apologetic, but I waited over a hour for my meal, the ribs were fatty, they were out onion rings, and they NO LONGER SERVE BBQ CHICKEN (not a joke) no white mean, dark meat, etc., only wings. Wings. Oh yeah, just what the world needs more wings places. No cornbread provided with our meal. No fish on the menu anymore. They now serve the same, prepackaged banana pudding as Savvy sliders (which is nasty) peach cobbler was soggy, gross, and all sugar. Inedible. No more house made banana pudding. Mac and cheese was so dry, void of actual cheese, which actually explains why the noodles were crunchy. Oh, but you can now get shawarma. So there’s that. $67 wasted. Looking for a new...

Be careful about what you eat or where you buy food from. I went to pick up a delivery order for a customer today, and this place looks like a jail inside—you can’t even see the kitchen. The moment I walked in, the employee told me it would take 5 minutes before I even told him which order I was picking up. That 5 minutes turned into 15 minutes. When he finally brought the food, he asked me for the name. I gave it to him, and he told me it wasn’t my order. Then he asked me what was exactly in the order. I told him, and he started acting confused, like he was under the influence or on medication—I don’t know, it was so weird.

He tried to open the bag he had just sealed and cut a piece from the receipt, then told me it was my order. As I walked out, he started shouting that it wasn’t my order and gave it to someone else. I asked how long it would take to make my order, and he acted like he had dementia or Alzheimer’s, claiming I never gave him the name of the order. When I gave him the name again, he said mine was next. I asked how long it would take, but he just shook his head and walked away. I had to contact the customer and the delivery app to let them know what was going on. This is one of the weirdest restaurants I’ve ever been...

This is one of the best little soul food places in Macomb County. Make sure you call well in advance so your order will be ready. It takes time to properly prepare soul food but it is very well worth the wait, especially for the price. The kitchen and it's workers are extremely clean and clear of coronavirus and other germs. This place all food is prepared with love and that's what their about spreading love from generation to generation through some real down home cooking. There are not many minority businesses in Macomb County like this one; I hope to see the expansion of more black businesses like this one that crosses the racial divide of the social-economical disparity out here. Both cultures enjoy this place and it's exquisite cuisine. So please come enjoy . Ribs & Soul is located 1/2 block from Harrington and South bound Gratiot. It is easily accessible. Remember to call ahead to reduce waiting period. I give them thumbs up in all areas food appearance, taste, smell and especially in it's preparation.
