SUPER DOLLAR — Local services in Clinton Township

I went in there yesterday….for the first time…to look at some rugs….found one that was $50…and the white female who was in there on the cash register…said she would take off $10….i was like wow ok….that was very gracious and kind of her…i also bought some ginseng that was in a bottle that was $3.17…and some African Shea Butter….i paid for everything….the Shea Butter and the glass bottle of Ginseng was in one bag together….a black plastic bag….grab the 5 X 8 rig and the bag and made my way out the door….all of sudden I heard glass breaking….looked down and seen that it was the Ginseng…the black plastic bag had a slit in the bag….and the Ginseng fell out….made my way back inside the store to explain to the white female….thinking that it would be replaced…I was told I had to buy another one and she couldn’t do anything about it bcuz she was the only one in the store….my aunts who I was in the store with was in line paying for some bandages after buying other stuff and getting back in line to pay for the bandages….asked if their was a manager she could speak to about the situation….she said she was the manager….we like well can u replace it since it wasn’t my fault that the glass bottle of Ginseng broke….she got very agitated and said Here jus take it….i grab it and was making my way out the door….when my Aunt holding the bandages asked what do u want me to do with the bandages she was trying to purchase….she said jus take them….she didn’t care that there was other people in line waiting to purchase items….we were embarrassed by her actions…..we left the store…The Store has a lot of items and is Big….before this situation happened we were talking about coming back….but after being treated the way that we were….i don’t think we are...

I wasn’t exactly excited when I noticed there was yet ANOTHER DOLLAR STORE that had opened up…in fact, I didn’t even go there for quite a few months.

Boy oh boy was I sure glad when I finally made my way into the store. First of all, I don’t know about you, but my dollar seems to be really shrinking every single time I go to shop ANYWHERE. The store is stocked with a bountiful selection and variety of household products. They have things for crafting, Beauty products GALORE!! And YES it is the “good stuff”. My husband and I ended up spending a whole lot of time browsing and shopping! They have clothing items, area rugs, anything else that you can possibly imagine.

Crown cigarettes brought me in there for the first time…$5.29 !??? I thought why not just give them a try…Newports have become out of reach for me with their CONSTANT price increases! I can honestly say that the Crowns are EVERY bit as good yet one third of the price

In my half a dozen visits or so, I have yet to make it down every isle. If you were to put the other well known "Dollar" stores together, this is the store you'd come up with...hence, SUPER DOLLAR! It's clean, well stocked, reasonably priced with a huge variety of inventory to choose from. I am a bargain shopper for sure, so I am sure of what I say. I believe the quality of his products have the edge over his competitor's products, while the same holds true on his pricing. This proprietor knows his store well and doesn't mind answering your questions. He welcomes any comments you may have as well, so it pretty much goes without saying that his people skills are polished. Very refreshing after dealing with employees at other stores who have never been taught how to deal with the public and don't know the definition of people skills. To avoid adding any more length to my review, I have purposely not mentioned any of the items they sell. Mostly because they already mention most items at the beginning of this...
