The owners & the barmaids are very friendly, Autumn is the best. Drink prices are very reasonable. Outside deck smoking area has been expanded beyond belief. Most everybody is a regular & from the area. Nights & weekends, as far as customers, you never know who you're going to get from where. People from all walks of life. 020923 update, been here several times since my original post, still a great afternoon place. 041023 Autumn is still the best barmaid of all the barmaids by far! It isn't what it used to be. Went with friends from out of town, there was a group of 4 "women" that tried to cause issues with us. We had never seen them there before. They were just out looking for trouble to start. As long as I had been going there with another local friend, I'll never understand why we were asked to leave, nonetheless at the exact time the trouble starters were asked to leave too. My friends were scared and Betty's grandsons didn't try to protect them. I absolutely love Betty and every bartender I ever met. Great local crowd. Maybe...maybe I might stop in to visit again...

I was disappointed stopping in your place last night - the door was tied open with a Bungee cord and it was uncomfortably cold inside - last night being the coldest night of the year. Patrons were all wearing heavy coats inside the bar and I learned the bartender likes it cold that way. I asked the bartender if she would mind if we close the door and warm the place up a bit and she said she does mind. Unfortunately all I had was a light jacket so I ended up leaving and going to a place where coats are not...
