Subway — Restaurant in Mount Morris

It says that this is a quiet place to eat, well I used to work at this Subway, and the main complaint I would always recieve, would be complaints about the owner screaming at his employees all of the time. I've been a Subway employee for over 2 years and have never been fired, I am a good employee. This manager fired me due to his bipolar disorder. He lets his feelings get involved with work, and will scream at his employees in front of customers. The second problem with this location is that all of the employees are always behind on their work, even though they are each working as hard as 3 people. The reason? The owner does not do any work, and a girl that works there, that has not even been given manager status, is being forced to pick up all of his work. The rest of the team has to do their job and hers. He basically comes in, writes checks, make a couple sandwiches with a fake face on, and leaves. He calls himself the owner and the manager, when really, he does less work then his lowest paid employee. All of his employees feel this way about him and will not say anything to him in fear of being fired. I would suggest driving one town over if you are craving Subway, because there is alot more I know about that place that would be unprofessional for me to state here. Needless to say, they need a thorough health inspection and new management. LEXI is the best! She welcomed me even when I came close to closing time (I was rushing from work) and I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki salad. I asked her if she could separate the meat from the veggies upon packing( nervous I was asking too much) and she willingly did with a glow of servitude and kindness. She was thorough and made sure my order was accurate. I get up to the window to check out and her demeanor was sweet and had a friendly smile and spirit! As I waited we had a fun chat! Get this girl a raise because with how she connects with others she needs to be recognized as a sweet worker who is dedicated to you not feeling like just another customer.I know its small but her kind heart goes a long way! I don't eat at Subway. This is in no way reflection of this particular location but I think the quality of their food as a franchise has kind of gone downhill. To be fair though I came here with slick deals pointing out discounts so I think that bears mentioning. With that being said the person who took my order at this location was accurate. I did not use the restroom so I couldn't tell you how clean they were. I didn't eat inside but at a passing glance it did not seem unsanitary. I did not see any food wrappers on the tables.
