Meh all around experience. Came on a Saturday night and got seated right away but then waited about 20 minutes to order and then waited about 30-40 minutes for our food after ordering. They did bring chips and salsa but the chips gotten eaten quickly and we were never offered a refill. Same with drinks, only got one after asking for it. Food was below average for a Mexican restaurant in my opinion. It’s came with a good amount of food but that didn’t really matter to me because I didn’t even finish half of it because it wasn’t great. The waitress was nice and was trying her best im sure but I don’t think I’ll be coming back

I don’t normally leave reviews but they 100% deserve it. I lived in Mexico for 2 years and have missed the authentic food from there. I’ve gone to a decent amount of restaurants in search of a solid meal and this one is king by far. Easily the most authentic food and absolutely stunning flavor. It’s very rare to find anywhere that sells carne al pastor with pineapple so I was shocked when I found it in my Alambre. Would highly recommend, I will be coming back often.

Great experience here, food was very good, portion sizes and quality were great, especially in this price range. Service was prompt, and food was brought to us quickly. We were not offered refills on drinks or chips, but they are available upon request. We will be eating here again, highly recommend!

Visited this place over a few weeks ago and the experience still sits with me. I couldn't believe how a simple description of a menu item turned out to be such a defensive debate by the owner. All over a few dollars. We ordered the description of quesadillas which came out as 3 hard tacos. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress she took the plate back to the kitchen for something different... only to then be asked if we would pay for the dish so it didn't come out of her pay. What!? The owner makes his young servers take it out of their pay? He wrote the menu and the description and it is simply NOT what is served. That is on noone else but him and any reputable establishment would recognize that. He was defensive, accusational, abrupt, rude, and not willing to accept any fault whatsoever. A good restaurant would never allow that to happen to their paying patrons. It left me wondering how many others he has been so unkind to. I felt awful for his servers that he so willingly put the blame on. He put the blame on us as well. Really disappointing behavior that I have reflected back on from time to time.

I am hoping by now they have corrected their menu... and really hoping they have corrected their behavior. Please treat your employees and...

We have been going to this restaurant for years but we're very disappointed when we had a menu discrepancy and how it was handled by the new management. The description on the menu was not clear and what was received was not what we expected. We asked for a different dish. The waitress took it back but came back later and asked if we could kindly pay for the first dish otherwise she will have to pay for it. We were happy to pay for it but the troubling thing was to hear that the blame was placed on the waitress when the owners were the ones who were responsible for the menu description. The manager was not open to suggestions or to conceding that a misunderstanding may occur with describing a taco with beans as a quesadilla with beans and may need improvement. I was also concerned for the unethical treatment of the employees as they said that they receive cash tips but not card tips. My hope is that this review may motivate and bring awareness for better management, fair treatment of employees, and quesadilla that are quesadillas...

My hope is that this feedback might encourage Pedro, the manager, to reconsider how he cares for his kind waitresses, and his patrons.

We ordered the Quesadilla de Frijos. Which came out as three taco shells with beans, rice, some lettuce, a slice of tomato and sour cream. No avocado, and really not what we felt we ordered.

We explained to our waitress that it wasn’t what we felt was described in the menu, and that we’d like something else.

She came back and let us know that Pedro said that if we didn’t pay for it, she would have to. Out of her pay.

I asked to speak with Pedro, who eventually I had to go track down to speak too. He said that it was our fault she had to pay.

After a very unfortunate conversation, we settled on us paying for the costs of the meal. Which is fine. We support small businesses and understand hardship. However, he then just threw away the food and wouldn’t let us take the food or take a photo for this review. Which we let him know we would be leaving.

Really poorly handled. We felt awful for...
