Came here by recommendation of our pediatrician because our baby was sick; showing signs of dehydration and was having trouble breathing due to a virus. Normally we love ihc, but we have no plans to return to this hospital. Will be going to gunnison instead. The receptionist who admitted us kept referring to our baby as "that baby" any time she talked to other staff, our nurse was extremely dismissive of our concerns and took every opportunity to teach us about why we were wrong for assuming anything was abnormal with our baby's behavior, the rt who was assigned to us fought and gave sass when I expressed concern and confusion over her diagnoses; she told us that if we weren't in the hopsital telling her our baby was sick that she wouldn't be able to tell, even though he was struggling to breathe and his head was sunken in, and made us feel like we were just paranoid parents that were annoying her. The only good doctor we had was Chad, who acknowledged our concerns and did what he could to show us that he was trying to find out what was wrong or what solutions could be made, even though none were found. This is an adult hospital. It does not seem to treat or understand babies and I'd rather take the trip to primary children's to get opinions from child specialists than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDr. Kryzmoskiās nurse is the worst. My husband has had to call several times to try get medicine that Dr. K prescribed to me through mail order so that our insurance would accept it. She basically told us that it wasnāt their responsibility to make my prescription mail order anymore because I recently moved. She obviously didnāt want to deal with it and kept suggesting we go make someone else do it so that they wouldnāt have to.
Also, billing kept sending my surgery bills to the wrong insurance company and I was tossed around like a hot potato dozens of times trying to get them to resubmit it. One of the people we talked to told me that āthe billing department doesnāt make mistakes like that.ā After talking to several people, we were promised it would be resubmitted, but it wasnāt, so we had to keep calling them and get more promises that it would be resubmitted. Eventually, our insurance took matters into their own hands and kept calling them for us until it was taken care of. It took about 11 months for the bills to be sent to my insurance properly. If it werenāt for my insurance company, we wouldāve had to file for bankruptcy.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never been so disappointed and left with so much anxiety and fear as I did after my experience with the ER. Nobody listened to me, assumptions were made, words were put in my mouth and I was not even treated for the reason I was there. No answers were given, Only fear and anxiety placed in me. They would put things in my IV without telling me what they were or what they were for. One nurse said āIām not sure why they are giving this to youā i ended up seeing a cardiologist who was baffled with the experience i had with this hospital after i told him all the details. He wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic for my horrible sinus infection and infection in my lungs since NOTHING was done for me for the reason I went to the ER. I understand that this review might be confusing because Iām not explaining all of the details but itās just too much to explain. I hope to NEVER have to go to the hospital ever again. I am absolutely TERRIFIED to get my bills. They ran every test on me that they could i think. I will probably lose my home and cars and everything weāve worked for cause the bills are going to be astronomical! So...
