Main Street Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Walked in around 12 PM on a Sunday, my first time there to purchase deli meat. There were some customers but none at the deli counter. I was there about 45 seconds, a young man walks out of the back, looks at me, doesn't great me and then walks down the back hall. I figured maybe he was just giving me a minute or two to look at the selections available. About 2 minutes later he comes walking back to the front deli counter with a tray that had some garbage on it, appeared to be his lunch, he looks right at me, again, I'm clearly waiting for someone to wait on me, and says nothing and walks into the rear kitchen area. I walked out at this point. I'm in the food business, I'm aware you usually have more to do than just wait on customers, but this guy never acknowledged I was even there, and looked right at my twice. It took over 10 minutes to have a waitress come over to see us, yet again months later no high chair. They own one high chair. So after the long wait we had to leave disappointed, 2 weeks ago we got burnt food. I'd recommend for a Saturday to have more help. We do like this diner and will not be back for awhile hope they can change...
