Allan in the Mt. Pleasant store is by far the best sales person i've ever encountered in any industry. We went in looking for one couch we had in mind and came out with something so much better. He was incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to help us get approved for financing and gave me and my husband several payment options once we decided on what we wanted. he stayed within our budget, and was sure to ask us what we liked and didn't like in a couch. he spent almost 2 hours with us. he was incredibly patient. i never felt like a burden with my million questions. he made sure we got exactly what we wanted, something that fit in with our life (apartment living, pets, newborn, etc.), and then some. i never felt pressured or like he only wanted to sell us something just for the money. i've never felt so comfortable making a large(ish) purchase. He was very laid back, friendly, and easy to talk to. Anytime we come back, and we will be back, i will make sure he's there to work with!
EDIT!: i have to edit my review. we were told our couch would be in within 2 weeks and someone would call us to let us know. we chose to pick it up at the warehouse. week three came and no phone call so my husband called. our couch had been sitting the warehouse for 13 days and nobody let us know. super diappointed. allan was still great, but if you choose to pick your furniture up at the warehouse, call them within the timeframe given to ensure it doesn't get sent back. also once we got our couch, our plug was broken so we couldnt even use the reclining part right away. luckily we...
Read moreDO NOT SHOP HERE BUYER BEWARE.. I bought a couch here as a reccomendation from a friend. Before purchasing in the store I browsed for what I was looking for. The sales lady was just your basic sales woman. And while picking out my couch I was assured that the protection plan was a great deal. I also had applied for the CC in store. Fast foward a year later I had a small burn hole in my couch. So I called to use my protection plan. Only to find out She never put it on as well as my order somehow turned into an online order. I was blown away. As usual they said there is nothing they could do which I expected. And I specifically told the sales girl that if the manager who is Susan couldn't recitfy the issue to not even bother calling me back . So Susan calls me back to say there is nothing they could do. And I reiterated that she should have not called me and wasted my time if there was nothing that could be done. So Buyer Beware and make sure you save all your paperwork. I will make sure I go out of my way when anyone asks me where to get furniture to tell them to not go here ever. they boast they have lower prices but they don't everything is the same price as other stores and I definitely could have done better and wish I had not...
Read moreUpdate: against my better judgement, I called in and spoke with the âsales leadâ which is who I was directed to when I asked for management. I was advised to leave the credit card alone and it will âfall offâ of my credit report and close out. There was no interest in a resolution to this matter. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I spent a good hour in the store with my husband. We found a set that we both liked. I preferred a sectional but wasnât able to get the material that I liked so we settled on two sofas. After reviewing the financing options extensively, we made a deal and had our credit checked. The store was closing so I made an âappointmentâ for the following stressing that I would be pressed for time. I arrived a few minutes late and nothing was ready as promised. Then I was told that the financing options werenât available and that I would have to pay 9% interest which basically eliminated the sale price and who would pay 9% for 3-5 years on furniture. Needless to say I left without new furniture or so much as an apology. What upsets me the most is the unnecessary inquiry on my...
