Subway — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

The store was out of tomatoes, and she had to go dig in the back for lettuce. Only one worker. I wouldn't nessarily consider her slow, but definitely not putting an effort to get it done, and she had a customer waiting. Then my bill was close to $30, and she wouldn't take my $50. She said they don't have that kind of change. Really they don't have a $20 and a few ones. When I guarantee most customers pay with a$20. And not long ago my husband went in at 8:30, stood out there waiting, while hearing them carrying on in the back, and she came out and said they was closed because they was short handed. This store lacks good management, as it constantly runs out of food for the subs. For example, within the past 6 to 9 months, this store actually had no bread to make subs (they only had flatbread). Last time I checked, subway requires bread to make subs. I was just at the store again on 04/15/15, and found that the management of this store is not any better than my last visit, as it ran out steak meat. Service was good but chicken-bacon sub was bad. Got food poisoning from it! I suggest that the bacon be cooked separate from the sub until it is crispy, or at very least provide that option. The employee had a hard time cutting through the sub because the bacon was under-cooked...
