Brews — Restaurant in Mount Sterling

Brews is a very lovely place with quality coffee, and quality people. Walking in is like being invited into a home full of comforting smells and truly sweet people. The atmosphere is cozy and refreshing, and the music there is very lively as well.

The first time I went there, I saw a post on their Instagram about their “Barista Favorites”. I saw their Boquet latte and I was very intrigued, I had to try it. I went there the following day, a little nervous having this been my first time going, and not really knowing what to expect. But immediately as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces. Not only did the latte exceed my expectations, (wink you should try it) but I felt comfortable being in unfamiliar surroundings because of such wonderful people!

My second experience was just the next day, I came in just before I went to school, and I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with compliments about my outfit. I had been recommended by a friend to try an iced Americano, and not knowing what it was, I asked the barista what exactly they were. And I received a very sweet, breif, but interesting history lesson about Americanos! Which, truly, I appreciated. I left with my custom iced Americano with a smile. It was just the perfect amount of happy I needed in my day to get through. (I came back after school😉).

Today was my fourth time going since my first time (three days ago). I will continue to be a regular customer too! I just received my loyalty card today!

Long story short, if I could give this place a 10/5 stars, I so would. They deserve much more than just 5 stars. I feel like a friend when I walk in, I’m comfortable and I can have cozy conversations with everyone there. The coffee is SO SO good too! I recommend this place to anybody, even if you aren’t a coffee lover. They have other beverage options and the food looks super yummy! I need to try out their food sometime. I could see myself hanging out here and editing photos for a while. Fun place to be inside. The people working here were fun and spot on with the service. I ordered a Chai tea and a breakfast panini with sausage. The menu is written in chalk on black boards above, so it could a free minute to go over the whole thing. But then again, I am a noob when it comes to ordering at coffee houses. The chai latte was rich in flavors and yummy. Not too sweet. The panini was meant for later, but of course i just had to take one bite for now. 4 minutes later, its gone 😂 It was good for sure, made to order. Good cheese, good patty of sausage, and fried egg (over-hard) combine that with the grilled bread and it was delicious. Glad...

Stopped in on a Saturday close to closing time. I try not to go into places near closing time because I think it's inappropriate but I live 53 miles away and wanted to try this coffee shop. The two girls working there were happy to serve me. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was fantastic. Since they were closing, they gave me a large chocolate chip cookie for free. A picture of this cookie is in the photos. It's from a family recipe. It was quite large and very delicious. The shop serves Lotus energy drinks and has cookies, pastries, paninis, and sandwiches.
