Jerseys Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Mount Sterling

First time here and everything was great! Completely exceeding expectations. This was legit well executed BBQ. We first had onion rings for appetizer, and they were big thick slices with solid tasting breading. The entrees, I had a pulled pork BBQ Horseshoe and wife had a Brisket and burnt ends platter. Mine was a mountain of the best pulled pork I've had in Illinois to date, it was more than I could handle and I went in hungry. Wife's was excellent too, the meat was so tender you could easily pull it apart, tender like it was smoked for 15 hrs! They were both perfection. The BBQ sauce was extra special, like a blend of sweet baby rays and something else they created. The atmosphere was a fun inviting one and the waitress was very nice and attentive and personable. All the boxes you can think of you expect for an A+ experience were checked. The prices were very reasonable too!
