I traveled 500 miles One Saturday and Its 8:00 PM and were coming from Clay City. We get into Mt. Sterling and we go to KFC. We got drive thru and the lady was nice there at first but then when we get to the window they were saying that it would take about 17 mintues for everything which was to say the least was long. Then we just wanted a refund because we didn't want to wait that long, insted of giving back our money the rude women didn't gave back our money and she had already given our waters and we wanted to gave them back in a nice way she said we couldn't because of Covid-19 which to say the least was understandable but then we asked them if they had trash cans and they said no because the health department said so. I never heard of a health department in the state that said no trash cans in the front which to say the least would easily litter the whole place. We dumped the water cups and kept them in our car until we founded a trash can (P.S. Not on KFC property.) Then the rude women said to quit arguing with her which to say the least was just awfully rude because all we did was ask nicely for a refund and she never gave us our money back. After 10 mintues we finally got our money back. Lees drive thru theses days is always full and I see why. If I had to rate 0 stars I would and really I'm...

I donât give bad reviews as I know what itâs like running a business and also working in the fast food industry⌠tonight deserved 1 star but Iâm not that guy.
The KFC is a nice establishment, building wiseâŚ
But, My family of 5, along with many others in front of us were told we couldnât be served as they had no food ready or something to that effect.
As we left, a guy said to us; âthey are just having a rough night.â
Well⌠I do hate that, as we all have bad daysâŚ
BUT, Do we realize that the 10 people that were told they couldnât be served, those are who pay your hourly wage and the reason the place is running? You turned away at least $100+ in business in less than a minute.
I know stocking these restaurants is expensive⌠it was $1500 a week where I use to work 7 years ago. I canât imagine now⌠And they just let customers walk out door to give to the place across the road.
Iâm just saying, It stressed me out and Im not even a part of this establishment. There is way to much competition for yâall to be doing that very much.
Weâll be back, and hopefully weâll get to eat next time.

Read moreI put in an order through grubhub for pickup and waited until it said that the order was ready. Got to the restaurant and they didn't have it. The woman there was quite rude about it as well pointing up to the little monitor that displays the orders for the the workers there to make and says rudely "do you see your order up there if not then we don't have it".
I get it, I really do. I used to work at a restaurant and I know how systems can make errors and mistakes but there wasn't even an attempt to be nice or even try to figure out what had happen. If it had been up to her I would have just lost my money on an order that had already been deducted from my bank and had said was ready.
Luckily another worker there cleared the board and my order popped up so she made it rather quickly. She was fairly nice.
But please try to be more considerate and nice. There's no need to have an...
