Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Mount Sterling

The food was OK. Everything seems to have the same flavor, but that's just LJS, so I knew that going in. What I didn't expect was the freezing temperature of dining in. I literally sit and shook while trying to eat. My family complained of the temp. Not just my family but other families were also complaining. You might say, "Why did you dine in?" Well I have 3 small kids and it's impossible to feed them in a vehicle and we live over an hr away so food would've been really bad by the time we had waited to have gotten home. The inside temp most the reason for 4 stars. Employees were very nice here, and that's always a great feature when dining in. We didn't feel like a bother. I grew up in Lexington Ky where the First Long Johns Silvers was started in the early 70s. The fish pieces have gotten a little smaller and smaller. If only LJS could serve a decent order of French fries before the over priced ( very expensive) waffle fries it wax potato sticks. The bigger the size of the French fries the more favor and weight. The waffle fries are a complete rip-off. I bought Two orders of waffle fries only it was so expensive and just nothing there. You can order a Two piece meal only with Two sides and have to pay for extra piece of fish. Two meals with the charge for the extra ( 2 piece of fish) is almost 30 dollars. I love Long Johns Silvers but until they have 3 piece meal available I can't go there. They used have a 10 piece fish only for a decent price. I can pay 30 dollars for lunch....

Today 8/30/24 my daughter and I wanted LJS. Drive thru was busy so I decided to go inside. I was 2nd in line to order. Short lady with short hair came said to the girl working the counter “we are gonna have to tell these people they are gonna have to wait because the drive thru is packed “!!! I understand being busy and I don’t mind to wait for a bit but not a word was said to any of us waiting and by this time, there was 6 people in line.
