Park Place Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

Went outta the way to stop here per recommendation off Google. Came in with 4 kids and myself basic order. 2 had pancakes with bacon 2 had nuggets and fries. Myself waffle and sausage. The place was empty the order took forever when we finally got it my waffle was ice cold with a glob of nasty margarine on top they offered to reheat it I said nvm we had a 6hr drive ahead glad I did took a bite and spit it out was the grossest waffle I ever had even the kids tried and spit it out. My granddaughters who got nuggets one got 4 nuggets while the other got 1 strip of chicken. When I complained about how horrible it was and uneaten I got a sorry and a $50 check for inedible food.. This place is incredible! I went on a double date with my boyfriend and our friends here on New Year's day and the wait staff asked if we'd been there before. When we said no, they all said "oh you're going to love it." Boy were they right! I ordered the Waffle Big Boy, my friends ordered the Big Boy and the French Toast Big Boy, and my boyfriend ordered the loaded Biscuits and Gravy! Everything was absolutely amazing.
