I went yesterday to this restaurant based on reviews. Servers friendly and great. Food average at best. Other patrons rude! Parking is a Nightmare. They park surrounding my vehicle. I walk back in and ask politely if the owner of vehicle blocking me could move. They all look at each other like they don’t know. Woman and rest of restaurant come out and the woman has the nerve to tell me I can fit my truck through a 10 foot at best spot. I guess this is how they tell you you’re not welcome. I come here to mountain home a lot. A lot of relatives here. I will guarantee I will tell everyone about my experience and tell their friends. From Illinois. don’t go there if you’re not a local. Good luck business owner with your same old crowd ruining your future business. Those people inside were primarily locals. You knew them by name. Especially the ignorant woman. I saw her there again on Saturday driving by...

I've eaten ere a few times, the food is always great!

BUT...

Today I called to inquire about how many people fit in their small dining room off to the left of the entrance and the woman who answered the phone sounded like I was interrupting her. You know how you can "hear" a smile on the phone? NOPE! This woman definitely had a FROWN on her face. I quickly thanked her for what little info she hastily provided and thought, 'WOW, won't be going there again!'

I didn't know answering the phone to provide some dining room information for a potential once a month meeting reservation could irritate the staff so or I wouldn't have interrupted their morning. She did finally sound happy, after I thanked her and she knew she was getting off the phone. Someone else should definitely answer the phone there.

Customer service goes a long way and today I didn't get that over the phone....

My wife and I looked up on google for places in Mountain Home for pancakes… the highest rated restaurant was 9th St Grill… so off we went! I was most disappointed upon trying to order my food I asked if I could have 5 pancakes and put blueberries in 3 of them.. the waitress responded that if they weren’t so busy that could accommodate us. So we had to order two short stacks one blueberry and one plain.. (there were 6 people in the restaurant including us) it wasn’t about Money, we just don’t like to waste food! Well I got the pancakes, but was very disappointed it had no taste.. maybe pancakes are different then in Tennessee. Anyway I didn’t put a 1 cause my taste could very well be accustomed to a different taste...

My boyfriend found this place while visiting Mountain Home by luck, just driving around while I was doing laundry at the laundromat. A cute cottage on the outside and excellent food and service on the inside. They don’t skimp on the ham in the ham and cheese omelet . There were huge ham off the bone chunks and lots of melted cheese, swirl rye bread and great hash browns . He said best omelet ever. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits. Nice and fluffy the way I like them , The staff is very friendly and conversational and seem to know all the regulars. That’s important. Would come again if ever here in Mountain Home.

This gem of a restaurant has everything going for it!! 9th Street Grill offers superb breakfast and lunches, with impeccable serviceThe owner/chef, Bill, comes out to greet you with his jovial personality, and the servers, Alynn, Christy, Shelby,Chrisy and Les are the most friendly, efficient servers I’ve ever had! This cozy, little place is a WOW factor to the” Mayberry” atmosphere of our hometown! It is our most frequent place to eat here!! MUST try the crepes... the brown sugar is my ultimate favorite breakfast in the whole, wide world,( better than in France in my opinion!) ❣️❣️❣️

Google said this place had one of the best breakfasts in Mountain Home Arkansas! I was hungry and the pics won me over since I was probably running through the day with no lunch. So I ordered the Special named Big Pork Steak and eggs. Oh my lands!! Take a look at the steak! I was expecting something about the size of my hand not the plate!! It was lying on a bed of hashbrowns nearly as large as the steak! Two eggs and two slices of toast for $10 plus coffee and tax. I won't need anything to eat for the next 2 days!
