This review is not entirely for the place and food itself. But towards, I believe her name was Marthalena the cashier.
I go to this place about 2 to 3 times a week. I've been going since they've opened. Haven't has any issues at all. Until tonight.
I placed an order and when I got home, it wasn't correct. So I drove all the way back and just asked them to remake me something else. She took back the order to the cook and stayed quite the whole time. She then hands me my order and doesn't say a word to me. I go back in my truck and it's wrong again.
I wrap around to the drive thru. I inform her my order is wrong and that I would like my money back. I wasn't about to place another order. When I handed her my order. She has the nerve to tell me that it's not my fault they didn't get the order right. I tell her there is no reason for her to even say that. Just to hand me my money. Now I was being nice to her up until her remark. She continues to argue with me when I just told her to give me my money back. I ask for the owners name. She then tells me, " Yeah go ahead and complain, he's my uncle. Do you think I'm scared." Now that is a ridiculous, immature unprofessional response in the restaurant business! I asked her if she's been in Customer Service before. Because she needs training on how to deal with customers.
The most upsetting thing is. I always go there and had never had an issues with her and I always tip $2.00 everytime and I'm always nice to her. So it goes to show if someone returns food because it's not correct or if someone complains. She lashes out and throws the fact that her uncle is the owner. That is completely unprofessional...
Read moreWe had the #16 (Chimichanga plate), Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito special, and a Carne Asada burrito.
The first two were excellent. The Chimichanga, beans, and rice were exactly what I would expect. And we really liked the Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito.
However, the Carne Asada burrito was nearly 100% beef with almost nothing else in it, not like the picture at all. But the real problem is that the beef was seriously over-salted, like choke it down with water every bite over-salted. My guess is that they forgot to rinse the brine off before preparing the meat for cooking. (Brine overnight, rinse, then do any prep for cooking that day.)
Portion sizes were ginormous, especially for the price you pay. We will be going back but we won't be getting anything that is Carne Asada.
Giving a generous 4stars because there are excellent dishes and the portion size for the price is excellent. But it should be 3.5 stars due to the Carne...
Read moreI will 9 times out of 10 always choose Rolbertos over any other restaurant. Big fan of the carne fries. However tonight was kind of a disappointment. I repeated my order three times at the window to make sure everything was correct, got to the window when I got my boyfriend's burrito that he had ordered and a carne burrito. I politely reiterated that I had ordered the fries, the cashier apologized and I told him it was not a big deal and if he'd like me to pull around front to wait given that there was a line forming behind me. He said no and to wait. Then came back with fries with no additional charge. I was disappointed upon opening my food at home and seeing that it was poorly put together in a hurry. The cheese is not melted, the fries are cold. There's barely any sour cream on them. I was not upset by the error, and would have gladly waited longer for the good quality food they usually...
