I stopped by here today to pick up coffees and pastries to bring to visit a friend. The parking here makes it difficult to make this a quick trip. The lot for visitors if over at Shoreline Amphitheater, where much of the lot is designated for carpool and electric charging, making this a longer walk than anticipated to get to the cafe. My friend asked for a coffee with non-fat milk. Sorry, they don't have that. I'm allergic to dairy, so I asked for almond milk. Sorry only oat milk (which has more oil in than I want.) Sigh. OK, one black and one oat milk. Two coffees and two pastries, nineteen dollars. This doesn't seem that subsidized to me. Although other reviews mentioned outdoor seating, I didn't see any at all. There was nothing here that would draw me back for a second visit. A Silicon Valley Native

Pretty disappointed. 1st time visitor. Mold on the focaccia (Turkey sandwich) was pretty significant for bread that is supposedly "baked fresh daily." Ain't no way this thing was baked today! Spoke to the Chef and only refunded me for my sandwich (we had two other sandwiches and a soup, I didn't want to touch after this). I was disgusted. He said they make the bread "fresh" in house daily.... Made some excuse that didn't even make sense blamed it on the oven it possibly not having a liner, what!?! You tell me if this looks fresh!!! Definitely not going back, heck no!

Had lunch here on a Sunday and it was good, but not the Matcha Latte. 😬 I ordered the Crunchy Ruben Sandwich and it was very tasty. I wished the bread bottom piece of bread was still crunchy, but it was soggy. Other than that it was very good for $12. The Matcha Latte was not very matcha-y, if that is a word. 😜 I did not order the tomato soup, but wished I had. Would definitely have to come back to try more good options, but not so much the drinks.

Casual dining in a beautiful setting. Very busy at the time we visited, but we did not have to wait long to get a snack before we hit the road to San Francisco.

It has a very artsy vibe to it. There is a wall of shelving facing the food line that showcases some interesting coffee cups that are not for sale. As we were waiting for our pastry, we noticed an artist putting the finishing touches on a geometric mural at the entry of a meeting room.

There is quite a variety of choices for reasonable cost. You can get sandwiches, salads, pastries and there are different coffee drinks, as well as water or other beverages.

There are several places to sit. In a main dining hall, there are comfortable couches with throw pillows at the entrance or you can choose a spot at tables with umbrella, cushioned seat and chairs on the patio.

Great for...

Ok, this is a strange one. I had to stop at the nearby store to pickup an order, so I grabbed a sandwich at this cafe next door. The sandwich was unremarkable; it was a little too salty, and too tall to eat easily, but otherwise fine. But the ambiance was bizarre. The entire time I was there, the waitstaff and the kitchen staff were meowing like cats to the tune of a Billie Eilish song…for fifteen minutes straight, the same couple bars over and over again, both singing and whistling. It was completely annoying and incessant so I had to go eat outside. I have no clue if this is a TikTok trend, or what, but it’s a shame because their prices were really reasonable and the campus so pretty, so if this hadn’t happened, I would have been...
