After my kids' soccer tournament, we decided to take the team out to a pizzeria nearby for a nice meal together after three intense games. The reviews online seemed decent, so we thought, “Why not give it a try?” Unfortunately, I regret not walking out the moment we stepped in.
The waitress's attitude was the first red flag. From the moment we mentioned we were a group of 16, she looked visibly stressed and acted annoyed. She tossed the menus onto the table—everything felt thrown at us, not handed with care. Despite the rocky start, we decided to stay and ordered our food.
Then came the second issue. We were told the boys needed to stay quiet because they were expecting a reservation soon. Mind you, we were seated next to a bar area where patrons were loudly watching a football game. It felt unfair and inconsistent to single out our group for noise when the environment itself was bustling and lively.
When the food arrived, I’ll admit the quality was great, but the service left much to be desired. The reservation group finally showed up, and the difference in treatment was stark. The waitress was all smiles, pleasant, and accommodating with them—a complete 180 from how we were treated. Frankly, I felt discriminated against.
To make matters worse, while some of our guests were still eating, she came by four times to ask if we wanted the check, making it clear she wanted us out. We felt rushed, unwelcomed, and uncomfortable. However, when it came time to process our payment, her demeanor shifted—she suddenly became more attentive and friendly, likely in hopes of earning a better tip.
As someone who has worked in customer service for over 15 years, I know how critical good service is, especially for larger parties where gratuity can make a difference. Unfortunately, this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. What could have been a celebratory team outing was overshadowed by the rudeness and unprofessional behavior of our server.
I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a place that feels like home but with the added bonus of fantastic food and a great sports bar vibe, Chrone’s is the spot to be. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed by an atmosphere that’s inviting.
The restaurant strikes the perfect balance between a cozy pub and a lively sports bar, making it ideal whether you’re just looking for a nice dinner or want to catch the big game with friends. The ambiance is effortlessly laid-back, but there’s still an undeniable energy, thanks to the well-placed TVs showing sports and the friendly chatter from other patrons.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible attention to detail by the staff. Sue who’s in charge of the food really shines here. She's always present, making sure everything runs smoothly, and her dedication to creating a welcoming environment is clear. Her personal touch and commitment to every customer’s experience are evident in every corner of this establishment. The waiters and their staff are equally amazing, always making sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. It's clear that they genuinely care about your experience and want you to feel like a part of the Chrone’s family.
As for the food, the menu is varied, offering something for everyone, from hearty pub classics to innovative dishes that never disappoint. The presentation of each dish is wonderful, and the flavors are spot on. Whether you're there for a burger, buffalo calamari, or Italian favorite dish, each bite is a reminder of why you would want to keep coming back.
The entire vibe of the place is very much like arriving at a family gathering—comfortable, inviting, and full of warmth.

Read moreI’ve been a patron of Chrone’s for many years, my favorite meal there was always the chicken Milanese, which on their menu was Chicken in a lemon and butter sauce. They close for a short time and then reopened. My wife and I went there for dinner because we heard the burgers were very good. I would say the burgers were about average. When I asked if this was a new proprietor, I was told that they just made some changes with the kitchen staff Which tells me it’s not under new ownership. This evening I ordered a chicken Milanese to go and was very disappointed when I got home and had received a chicken cutlet with salad on top. When I called Crone’s after opening my dinner, aside from the obligatory “I’m sorry to hear that” The woman who answered the phone was very dismissive insisted on repeating herself over and over again that she was Italian and that chicken franchise is the dish with the lemon and butter sauce. Chrone’s is clearly under new management and the “Chicken Milanese was not very good and definitely was not worth the 30+ dollars...
