If you are looking for a place for a party - look no further! I recently had my son's graduation party at Badger Burger in Mukwonago. My son graduated from West Allis Central - so most of our guests traveled from the Milwaukee/West Allis area. Everyone agreed - it was worth the drive! I had many many compliments from guests about the food, service and atmosphere! They have a party room available for FREE when you purchase food and beverages. The party packages are reasonable and we had plenty of food! The manager June is professional, friendly and so organized! She helped me coordinate the perfect menu! The pizza party included - pizza, garlic bread and pitchers of soda. I added some additional appetizer items and upgraded some pitchers of soda to beer for an additional fee. We were given plenty of time before the party to set up and decorate. With a party of 75 people - not only did we have the party room, but the lower level of the restaurant and about half of the upper level reserved for our guests. They set up 2 buffet areas for food to get everyone through the lines quickly and consolidated it down to 1 later on. The food was fresh, hot and delicious! The pitchers of soda, beer and water were labeled and always full! The buffet area was kept clean and organized. I could not say enough about our server Sarah - she was incredible! As soon as she arrived - she even helped us decorate! She was so friendly and outgoing. She was a pleasure to work with! Throughout the party - she frequently checked in with me, my son and daughter to see if we needed anything. She checked in with guests keeping tabs and serving cocktail items that were not included in the party and cleared dishes and plates. I never had to ask for anything - she always had everything under control! When it was time to clean up - she packaged and labeled leftovers so we could easily send food home with people. This was by far the easiest and least stressful party I have ever hosted. I would not only HIGHLY recommend Badger Burger - I will definitely have a party there again! Nice location in downtown Mukwonago. The menu has many different appetizers, sandwiches, wings and pizza options. However, the reason I would go to a place called Badger Burger is for the burgers…and they do have a number of those on the menu as well.

My burger (Badger Burger) was ordered medium rare, but was definitely a little too much on the rare side for my liking. It was a very large (1/2#ish) and despite being undercooked, was good. I also had a side of onion strings that were really way over cooked to the point they were inedible.

My wife had the baked cod which she thought was good. However her fries were soggy and barely warm.

Kids had the wings and the traditional wings looked good, were decent size and tasted fine with the BBQ sauce. My other son had the boneless wings and they were not what was expected. Their boneless wings appeared to be boneless skinless chicken breast chunked up and it looked like they used a dry rub to coat them. They were very dry to the point they were not eaten after the first couple.

Another person had a burger cooked medium and it was fine, except again the fry issues mentioned above.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly and it looks like some younger family members were pitching in to help that night as well.

Overall, this Badger Burger has a nice little atmosphere, but the food just wasn’t the best. We had a similar experience the first time we ate here as well and wanted to give it another chance, but had similar food issues then as well.

It has some potential and we will probably give it another try at some point, but may try some other places in...

My husband and I were here for dinner 4 weeks ago. We had been there together a handful of times before. We really enjoyed the food and had good service in the past, but that night was the worst experience. We sat at our table for quite some time with no server having approached us. Finally, the hostess came over and asked if anyone had come to our table. When we told her no, a server came and took our order. We ordered right away. We saw people come and go while we waited for our food to arrive. Two tables sat after us, got their food before we did. My husband had ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and I ordered the fish fry. We finally got our food after what had to have been at least close to an hour. I got the tiniest pieces of fish and no rye bread and no cole slaw with my plate, which we told the girl who brought us our food. Our server finally made an appearance after that and we told her as well. It seemed like both of our dinners must have just been sitting in the kitchen for a while because the food was not even close to hot, my fish especially. I had been watching hearty platters of fish go by, while I was given 3 tiny overcooked pieces and just fries. I would have sent my dinner back for fresh pieces of fish had I not been so hungry. It was very disappointing. From the time we walked in the door to the time we got our check, it was 1.5 hours and we got there around 6:40 pm.
