McDonald's — Restaurant in Mulberry

This location is impressively bad, and not in the ironic way.

Let’s start with the order system: they print out tickets immediately for every order, seemingly just to trick the system into thinking they’re knocking them out quickly. Reality check? You’ll be waiting 15+ minutes for something as basic as a Quarter Pounder or McChicken. And if you dare to special order—like no pickle, extra cheese—good luck. You might get the pickle and no cheese, despite paying for it. It’s like playing fast food roulette.

The manager honestly seems like he wants to do better and carries himself like he has potential, but good intentions alone aren’t fixing the systemic issues in this place. There’s a disconnect between management’s efforts and actual results, especially when it comes to speed, quality, and accuracy.

If you’re observant, you’ll also notice visible health code violations just by looking over the counter. Not exactly appetizing.

From now on, I’m documenting everything—photos, videos, timestamps—because people need to see what they’re walking into. This location has become a cautionary tale for fast food done wrong.

Avoid if you have options. Seriously.

Update 1:

Today I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese Deluxe — and received a single. When I asked them to correct it, Leah, the person handling the front, didn’t even wash her hands before putting on gloves to go handle the food after working front end. That alone is a serious health code violation. I’m honestly amazed this place is still operating in this condition.

As for the food? The patties were somehow both soggy and burnt. I’m not even sure how you manage that, but this location pulls it off consistently.

This place was absolutely horrible after several times of going in there and getting cold food I went in they're one afternoon trying to get a McDouble when I got it it was cold so I asked for a manager he was wondering around in there like he does not know nothing it's going on as if he was dizzy or something so I asked for a refund told him what my order was he walks over to the register and he tells me I do not need all of this attitude I have said nothing else other than I want a refund then I looked at him and I said all I want is a refund and I will be on my way then he asked me why do you have to my life a mortal hell I had one witness who was with me and I called the owners this is what I was told about a week later after talking to the lady who answers the phone at the owners she said that the supervisor over that store would be calling me all he said is that it was an internal investigation he cannot tell me anything about what the term determination or judgment was on my complaint so I asked him will I be seeing the same manager and another girl who refused to give me the office number would be working there if I went back in there he said yes then I called the owners again and I told them about what I was told by their supervisors these two individuals do not need to leave working at that store that you're not have the personality for retail or restaurant food they told me that the same two individuals will be working in there if I go in there again I want to let everyone know around the mulberry area or if you stop at the McDonald's in Mulberry after it gets rebuilt this is the kind of treatment that you will receive if you have a problem with your order I tried to talk to the owners it does no good I have heard nothing from them just remember this is the way that you are treated and think about the way that your food is...

Went in there today because it was fairly empty. 1st it took 3 minutes to acknowledge that I wanted to order. When I ordered it was added up incorrectly and I was over charged. They didn't even offer to refund me. It took 16 minutes to get 1 double cheeseburger and 1 small fry. There was 2 customers ahead of me with normal sized orders. 16 minutes I waited. I asked for hot mustard sauce and left when I got to my car it was honey mustard. The meat in my burger looked old but I was hungry. I ended up in the restroom 20 minutes later.
