Wow if you are looking for a unique fast food restaurant I would recommend Zaxby's. This location is clean and the people there are friendly. The food is always fresh it's like they make everything when you order it. I would compare this to Chick-fil-A when it comes to the freshness and quality of the food. The quality of the food and the customer service standards have been great at every location that I have been to. I believe this place has high standards and they train their people well I do think that I would go ahead and recommend any location. So if you're sick of the ordinary Wendy's Chick Fil A McDonald's Burger King Etc try Zaxby's. I would say it's a good place to bring your whole family or just to take through the drive-thru. I will say that the place is definitely clean and they have a lot of interesting things on the wall. The place has a very strong rustic charm and the people seem to be happy. Now there are a few drawbacks that I would want to warn you about I would warn you about the fact that they charge you for sauce. I think the first sauce you get for most things as free but if you need more than one sauce a lot of time still charge you for the sauce. This is strange as this is not coming practice amongst other fast food restaurants. Now the sauces seem to be home made and that may be why they charge you they may put more better quality ingredients into their sauce so that might be it. But I would pay the money for the sauce as it has always been delicious. In fact if I saw a bottle of it at a grocery store I may buy it. If you haven't been there at least put it on your bucket list. Please keep in mind I'm reading this like a fast food restaurant not to be compared to a regular...
Read moreI worked for Zaxby's for a year and a half up until maybe a month or two ago. I do not suggest eating here, as I know what goes on in the "Back of House" area. They drop food - anything from buns to raw wings - on the dirty, unclean, wet floor throughout the day and still serve it to the guests. I once dropped a pan of 12 buns on the soaking wet, greasy floor and the general manager told me to put them back and still serve them. Same thing with wings and fries. While the hot grease does remove bacteria, it does not removed dirt or food particles. They force sick, contagious employees to work in direct contact with guests and food, even if they are running a fever and vomiting. They have a rat infestation in food prep areas, dry storage, and the dish room. The sanitizing water and towels used to clean the center line where food is plated or boxed is not changed out throughout the day, spreading bacteria. This especially applies on drive-thru order side, as they share a sanitizing bucket with the station used to prep raw chicken tenders, so anything wiped down on that side may result in salmonella spreading and touching cooked food. Management treats their employees poorly (once almost fired me for calling out of work a day ahead of time due to a bad car wreck).
The food is great, sure, but it's not worth the health risk. I loved their food, but even I've stopped eating there due to this and since my leaving, have been informing others of the conditions. Please do not waste...
Read moreI like this location they don’t make a lot of mistakes on orders. One here and there but that is to be expected especially when the place is busy. Everyone at this location is usually pretty friendly and helpful. The tea is horrible it always has been hit or miss since they opened. But the have the drink machine will all the options you could imagine. The one thing that kept happening to me and a lot of folks I know is once the corna virus made it impossible to eat inside the drive thru became packed. Now that’s not the problem, the problem is that at this location they would tell you at the window to please pull up to the cone and your food will be brought out. Well the cone was in a pretty bad place so it blocked the people in the drive thru behind you in and every time an employee would walk out and ask, are you waiting on food? And then proceed to ask you to pull into a spot. Well this is frustrating since the window said to pull to the cone. This is really the only bad experience I’ve had at this location. Now that the inside is open again hopefully this will no longer be an issue but corna or not someone could have fixed the pull up system. With that being said this a good location and...
