China Kitchen — Restaurant in Muncie

I ordered online at 2:30ish for delivery. I ordered general tso lunch because that is the only way I found it. I also ordered sweet and sour pork .. large. When I received my food at 3:40ish the pork for my sweet and sour pork was still steaming hot. That is the only good thing I have. There was no sweet and sour sauce and when I called .. they put me on the list with no ETA on when I would get it. Opened the container of the General tso and it looked like it was from lunch .. barely warm and it was in a plastic container when the pork was in a normal cardboard container that was filled so much it wasn't even closed. The broccoli in the General tso was dried out and the fried rice was also barely warm with no taste. Definitely won't be order from them again. Between the wonderful (not) customer service and the food itself..not going to happen. I received my sweet and sour sauce at 4:25. He almost didn't even leave it. I got to the door in time. Supposed to be "no contact" and I have little tables next to the door on both sides. Unfortunately this was not a good experience. I did not give one star because the order was correct just not all delivered and the pork was really good. But when I called and was told that there were 3 deliveries in front of me and he could not give me an ETA on when I would get something that was literally the biggest part of the dish that did it for me. I totally understand accidents happen. Things get missed. But you are telling me that your driver couldn't bring it out with the next delivery? No problem. Just won't be ordering from them again. And make sure when you are getting delivery that you know who is actually...

This place is fantastic! I have never had a problem with food or service here, and I eat here often.

There have been couple of small hiccups with an order here and there usually due to being extremely busy, or miscommunication. It has always been handled quickly and professionally.

To the comments about finding cartilage or other animal product in your food:Well genius, you're eating a dead animal, of course there might be bone or cartilage in it.

To the preposterous comment about not having sauces put in your bag when you went to pick it up? Well there, Copernicus, you might notice a TOWER of sauce packets, tea, plastic ware, napkins, Fortune Cookies, salt, and pepper just to the right of the counter... It takes all of 10 seconds to use your booger hooks to grab some and toss it in your sack.

To those that whine about service being less than hyperspeed: You do realize that every item on the menu is made to order, not precooked and staged, right? This place is one of the busiest Chinese take-outs in town. If you have ever spent more than a few minutes in there, you would begin to understand the sheer volume food that moves out of here.

Mistakes happen, but people tend to forget that when they are impatient, boisterous, rectal pustules; slamming their debit cards into the faces of bewildered Chinese Americans Trying to make a buck while feeding you...

Lighten up. It's not Spago, it's not the Brown Derby. It's a mom and pop...

I ordered a take out of Egg Drop Soup and Chicken Chopsuey (comes with steamed rice). I ate in the Car coz I was waiting for my son to wake up (if he was awake, he's gonna eat the food too) coz we had to go to Payless after eating..

Ate some of the egg drop soup first then the chopsuey (not good but it was okay'ish) then the rice. The rice was bad spoiled!!🤮 I am Asian and I know rice. Rice is easy to cook too. But this one was really spoiled and when I smelled it, it smell spoiled!! The kitchen people should know that their rice is bad if they check it, but I guess they don't check their food?🤷‍♀️ It was BAD BAD‼️

I returned the whole meal, I told the person in the cashier that the rice is spoiled. Then he was like "you want refund for the rice?". I was like no, I want a refund for the whole meal! Then he checked how much I ate out of the soup, then checks on the Chopsuey on how much I ate (which I had only 1 bite).. And in my mind I was like seriously??!!

They did not even apologize or feel sorry about it‼️ and that is bothersome‼️ They acted like they don't care!! He can see that I am pregnant, I am 19 weeks pregnant and yet they care less!! They don't...
