Mulan — Restaurant in Muncy

Their food is good, but yes a little pricey. they won't tell you when you call and order a lunch combo that are charging/serving you a dinner combo, cause they don’t do lunch. I had the beef and broccoli and it was tasty. The broccoli was cooked to perfection, with a little snap to it and not over cooked and soft. I also had the wonton soup, the wontons were okay and had a bit of meat in it but the broth was a little bland, just salty water. The big issue with this place is their decor is just a mess, everything still wrapped in blue tarp, stacked up tables, boxes everywhere. The speaker is obnoxiously loud and credit card machine beeps at volume 11.

And not once has the little girl (and/or Mom) working behind the counter ever smiled or looked cheery, it's always an sour demeanor right down to the voice and It's just an unhappy vibe this place puts out. No customer appreciation at at here.

But the food is okay and just about the only place in the area you can order decent dishes with...

Quick service, never any mistakes no matter how much is ordered. How many places can you say never mess your order up? Maybe I'm just unlucky but EVERY place messes up my order, this place does not. I can say the entire order without taking a breath and their reply would be "k, 20 minute." I show up to pick up and never a mistake. Obviously customer service could be a little better but it isn't expected to be splendid when the employees English isn't the greatest. Odds are you won't eat there anyway. Best experience at this place is take out. There's only a few parking spots so expect some irritating traffic if you decide to get a bite to eat on a Friday night after work. Food is so worth it and makes any other problem worthless. Who cares about everything else when the food tastes great, looks great, smells great and is very well proportioned. You'll most likely have leftovers and if you eat here enough, you'll have a big bicep from opening the front door up so...

There are a number of Chinese restaurants in the region, and each place has its own quirks, but Mulan is one of the BEST in the area. Dining in is a little sparse in decor, but the food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and well prepared.

I would love to see more ethnic decor, hear some ethnic music, and see this place really turn into a dining experience.

The folks that run the place are generally very pleasant and know their loyal customers by sight. The owner's daughter is a delight to talk with - very precocious, intelligent, and witty!
