Momo Sushi — Restaurant in Mundelein

Kept my delivery guy waiting an hour, telling him that it would “just be twenty minutes.” Meanwhile my order went unfulfilled for 90 minutes. When I tried to call the restaurant, the phone was disconnected.

Update: my wife got through on the phone, and they hung up on her before she could even say hello.

We have ordered from them a dozen times, and will never do so again. Contemptible customer service.

Second update: working on two hours. They won’t complete the order and my dasher tells me he’s seen them start and finish 6 other orders while ours is still unfinished.

Third update: On the 10th attempt, got someone on the phone. She lied multiple times to say that the food was on its way. While she was lying, my dasher was texting me (he could hear her talking to me on the phone) to tell me that the order was still...

The lady that is in front seriously has a problem. She walked out mad saying we had to leave her tip when where since we entered she had a bad attitude to us. Proceeds to tells us if we are mexican, to go ask the next door restaurant for them to explain to us better. She said we had to mark the tip or else she would mark it herself. We told her it was optional if we wanted to leave tip & the amount. Bad customer service! She should really work on her attitude before wanting to charge customers tip! If I could give a 0 I would. This new owner has bad attitude!! Bad service. I would go...

The staff are friendly, but the sushi was nearly inedible. Partially our fault for getting sushi on a Tuesday night, but the fish all tasted strongly of Saran wrap and the wasabi had started to turn colors. The tuna had a distinct fishiness and dissolved oddly. The Salmon and red snapper were rubbery, couldn't eat much of them. The white tuna / escolar was pretty good. The tempura calamari as well. The miso soup was tasteless and the seared tuna carpaccio tasted fishy as well.
