Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Mundelein

This location is an embarrassment to the Pizza Hut corporation! So I ordered online and order was submitted at 4:48pm, I picked the pickup time for 5:30pm.

I arrived at 5:30pm and was told it would be another 20-25mins. What? I was told there was 13 orders ahead of me, as I looked around the lobby there was about 5 people waiting, can you believe this most of the people waiting for their orders, their orders were in the warming oven at the front. Does anyone working here know what their doing…..? It is now 6pm and I’m still sitting here and I see a Pizza and Wing box sitting in the warming oven….so I ask Bandanna Boy, what order was sitting in the warming oven, and surprise it was mine. So I sat there for 30mins, who knows how long it sat in there, hopefully not as long as I sat here waiting.

To the employees, one employee stood around and I’m not even sure what he did, maybe the Manager, one employee made pizzas and one cut the pizza and boxed them.

Now to my order which is another FAIL, extra green peppers means EXTRA, not 10 little pieces on a large pizza, there was hardly ANY toppings on this pizza to begin with.

I’ve ordered from the Round Lake Beach Pizza Hut without any issues.

I love Pizza Hut, maybe order from this location at an off hour…..maybe then they can do it...

i placed an order online, i dont really ever order pizza hut. but today i was like why not? when i placed my order i put cash as the option for payment. apparently i was called a few times but since its an old account i never changed the phone number. so when i order food i always rely on the website for updates and on the website still said my food was being made. i saw that today 1/6/22 it closes at 9pm. i called at 8:45. no one picked up. i called again. no one picked up. the phone just rang. i tried once more and finally after about 15 seconds of ringing someone picked up. i asked about my order and they said it was cancelled because today they aren’t accepting cash. i placed my order at 8:01 exactly. waited almost an hour. hungry family waiting. just to find out about an hour later that they are not accepting cash and could give another form of payment if i still wanted it. i thought about i was like why not. i was informed itd be another 45-50 minute wait. i was so upset. i said it was fine and leave it cancelled. worst customer service ever. i don’t recommend coming her at all. will never buy from this place specifically again. do better. I ordered my two pizzas on 14th Feb. 20201 at 6.26 pm local time. I got the confirmation text that they received the order. Estimated delivery time is 72 - 82 minutes. I was prepared to wait for that long. I tried calling them couple of times, when I didn't receive my order, but no one picked up the order status option. I called again through the order placement option, and they picked up right away. When I asked about my order status, they said they are not physically present at the location, but would transfer my call.  Again there was no response.  BTW, the lady at the order placement option was rude. I tried calling again, but by then, I got the message that the store is closed. At 9:30 pm I received a phone call from the store, saying that they had resource issues that evening and wanted to know if I was still interested in getting the pizza. I said no and asked to cancel the order. They cancelled my order and immediately hung up without even apologizing.  I had an option to get pizza from different places but went with Pizza Hut.  BIG MISTAKE....
