Quiznos — Restaurant in Mundelein

Quizno’s is insanely underrated! I normally don’t review fast food restaurants too often, but I feel like Quizno’s isn’t getting the brand recognition that it deserves.

I had two Italian Meatball sandwiches on the Sammie flatbread (typical to my normal order at other sub shops like Subway), and I was very impressed! I had decent expectations going in as I remember my last visit to a Quizno’s joint (a rest stop somewhere on I-94) was pretty good (likewise, it had been over 5 years since I’d been to Quizno’s due to the lack of location near where I live), and those expectations were certainly exceeded!

The employee working the store was also very helpful, and promptly had my food prepared well.

Ripped off ! Watch out !! Single Gyro $5.75 or 2 for $8.00 Ordered a single gyro and they insisted they used a larger flatbread so I get charged 8.00. What kind of ship is this ? Stop with the games ! Nowhere on any Quiznos signage or website adds does it mention size variation or subsitution. I wanted a single gyro for $5.75 like the sign says ! And when I mentioned you were overcharging me you made it seem like I was crazy. To make it worse this so called sandwhich had hardly anything on it. A gyro at any gyro place isnt this much and is 3 times the size. I left hungry and mad because i hate getting taken and ripped off. Quiznos is nostalgic for me so when I saw this I had to try. The food was great, the taste and freshness was very good. The issue I had was when asking for a simple modification to a sandwich, my son wanted a meatball sub and to add salami to it. I said I would pay for additional meat but I was told no because they don’t mix the meats. I don’t get the issue with trying to add something to a sandwich, I wasn’t looking for a free addition either. What made it more weird is that my mesquite chicken had bacon on it.
