I visited this establishment a couple weeks ago on a Saturday around 7pm. When I first walked in there were a couple people standing at the counter talking to the girl at the register. I thought they were placing an order but would later figure out they were friends and possibly also worked there but off the clock. They were joking and cussing around. Finally the lady asked if she could take my order. I guess she was newer there but did a good job and took my order of 10 wings, fries and drink. I asked for bleu cheese and if I could have a side of buffalo sauce because I like dipping my fries in a mix of sauce and blue cheese dressing. She looked confused and said they didn't have buffalo sauce on side. Ok no biggie. I paid for my order, gave my name and sat down. The people that were in front of me stayed around and were loud as heck. Again no biggie. I had no longer sat down and the girl came out and said my order was ready. I thought dang that was quick but when I opened the box I saw why. It was a pizza. I took the boys to her and said I think this is for someone else. No idea how you forget a person's face and order in 2minutes with just couple people waiting in the place but she did lol. Finally the food came out and I have to say, the wings were really good and fries crispy. Wings could use a little more sauce as I like mine dripping but not a show stopper. Finally after about 10 minutes the guys left the place and could enjoy eating in a little quieter place and less distraction for the girl at the counter so she could take a few orders before she clocked out. The pizza was for a guy that was waiting in the place before me and I hope they reboxed the pizza at least. I didn't touch the pizza but who knows if they swapped food to other box. So overall the food was good but service lack luster and could have been better had the individuals at the front blocking the counter had not been there and been so loud. I will probably stick with BWW or my other small wing place I go to often. I am usually getting wings weekly and really hoped the first impression of this place had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWith a plethora of wings places to choose from it is hard for one to stand out, but this one doesānot just for the food, but especially for the service and attention given every time weāve gone there. From the moment we walk in, we are warmly greeted with genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Beyond the service, what we have tried of their food has definitely been better than the average wing place. To be fair, we never get bone-in wings anywhere, but the boneless wings were delicious. They are larger in size than most wing places; they are always cooked well, and there is great selection of sauces they can be tossed ināall of which have been very good. Additionally, who doesnāt love waffle cut fries? Theirs are great, and we have always been given a good-sized portion. We also enjoyed their macaroni and cheese. As far as the atmosphere, they appear to be geared for a lot of takeout, but they have a small dining area with a couple TVās with a game or something on, fountain drinks and draft beer with four tapsāof which we have tried. So, if you like a cold beer with your wings, they do have that option. As far as the prices, they are in line with other wing places, but they do offer some good specials. We personally enjoy getting their $19.99 āfamilyā meal that includes 20 boneless wings (5 wings in each of up to 4 different saucesāwhich is great considering the number of great sauces), 2 orders of waffle fries, and two soft drinks. While they call it a āfamilyā meal, it is great for two people with large appetites (and perhaps with some leftovers), or is a perfect size for three people with an additional drink. If you're looking for a wing spot with great food and even better service, this is the place to go. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do and shows a sincere interest in every customer. It has definitely become our āgo toā...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy mother and I ate at Atomic Wings this afternoon for lunch, probably around 11-ish. Iāve been wanting to go before today but I read someone elseās review of their seating and it didnāt seem toddler-friendly.
Spoiler alert: Itās not. Seating is limited with two tables and a few bar-like seats at the window. Our toddler was with her grandparents today so we took the opportunity.
When you go in to order, they inform you that the digital menu up on the wall is not the real price. The prices differ from that menu with a $2.00 swing up or down. Yikes, they need to get their listed prices under control ASAP!
Our order for two five-piece wing combos was around $22.00 altogether. It seemed like an okay price to me but the wings were on the small side.
The food came out hot and fresh. I ordered the five-piece boneless wings combo with waffle fries. I know the boneless wings debate and I know they are chicken nuggets but sometimes I am lazy.
The fries were really good and crisp but the boneless wings... were not. They had no crisp or crunch to them at all. I compare them to microwaved nuggets that they tossed in sauce.
I ordered the honey barbecue sauce and my mom ordered the buffalo. The sauces were forgettable and small. The ranch dressing was also lacking in flavor.
My mom ordered the bone-in wings combo and asked for all flats. She got two flats and three drumettes and one of those was questionable. Neither of us were sure what part of a chicken it was from.
They werenāt busy in the least, with lots of staff but no one came and checked to see how things were. I noticed two guys who seemed like owners or managers behind us chatting with what looked like friends.
We probably wonāt go back unless we're just REALLY craving wings fast. None of it was that great and the sauces werenāt memorable, that was just what it was. There are too many other wing joints in town to mess up...
