Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I had a Slim Chickens meal a few nights ago for the 2nd time ever and it was pretty good so I decided to go there again tonight. I decided to download their mobile app since I thought I might start eating there frequently now. I ordered my food on the app and chose to have them bring it out to my vehicle. I got an email from them saying it would be brought out by 10:08. During my wait there, there were 2 more cars that pulled up and after a few minutes of waiting they would go in and get their food. Now at 10:18, 10 minutes after they were suppose to bring out my food I went in. Waited 2 or 3 minutes to be waited on and finally a young black girl came over to me. I told her I had been waiting outside for 20 minutes for them to bring me my food out. She said in a snarky way, they didn't give a specific time on when they would bring it out, that it was just whenever they had time. I told her and showed her my email from them that said they would bring it out by 10:08. She had nothing to say and handed me my food that had been sitting there who knows how long. Very, very poor customer service. I will probably delete this mobile app and start going back to Chick- Fil-A where I have always had great...

Unfortunately we decided to give this place another try. I ordered the Cheyenne ranch chicken sandwich. It was undercooked and I have had stomach issues for hours since I ate it.

Update: We went back today. My in-laws ordered at 12:11 pm. At 12:46 my father-in-law went to the counter with his receipt. At 12:56, he went again. At 1 when our food was brought to us, I mentioned that they had ordered almost an hour ago and still had no food. Finally, I went to the counter and the manager (I assume) offered a refund for their food and 4 free jars of the dessert. My in-laws watched 8 of us eat and left the restaurant without having lunch. The manager was kind. He was working hard. But never was their meal even prepared. It will be a long while before we return.

Our meal took quite a while to receive, but we had a large order. I had to go back up to the counter to ask for our Mac and cheese because it was forgotten. I also had to ask them to change the tv channel due to violence (people stomping on people’s heads, physical altercations, etc.). The restaurant was full of kids and that was on one of the TVs. We have enjoyed the tenders family meal for years since they opened in murfreesboro. We tried their wings with the family tender meal totalling over $80. We had Mac n cheese and potato salad with our meal. The Mac and cheese now (not previously) is like government surplus, edible with some nutritional value but not something you run for before it runs out. The potato salad honestly got thrown out because none of us wanted another spoon full. The tinders were great as always, juicy and crispy on the outside and the size is perfect for 2-3 bites per tender. The wings... horrible at best, overcooked, tough and the only flavor was the sauce which wasn't enough to overcome chewing the wings or drummies. We had an order of both wings and drummies and there is a container full in the fridge where we only ate about 6 out of the 10 drummie 10 wing, an add on for $30. I miss the chips, they were always too salty but a lovely freebee with a family meal. I will go back but probably just get the tenders and find my sides somewhere else.
