This place deserves 10 stars! First time dining here and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Our family stopped in for lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised to learn they have a daily buffet in addition to their regular menu choices. This was a perfect option for us because no one knew what they wanted. This gave us all the opportunity to try multiple different dishes. Everything on the buffet was absolutely delicious and the owner was so sweet, personable, and accommodating. I WISH I had thought to take photos of some of the wonderful foods they offer. The butter chicken was probably my most favorite (tender chicken and the perfect spices) but there wasn’t a single thing there I didn’t like. They brought us freshly baked garlic nan bread to our table and it was the best I’ve eaten. My husband and son each ordered a mango lassi and loved it. In addition to the quality of the food and service, the prices are very good as well. (We expected to pay more for the amount and quality of food we received). If you haven’t been, run, don’t walk. And bring a friend. You won’t be sorry!...

So so so amazing!!! I'm from out of town and I am HEARTBROKEN we went on our last day in Murfreesboro and didn't get to go twice. Super lovely and comfortable environment, and they were immediately able to seat our table of 11! One in our party was vegan, and they immediately went over to the buffet with him and pointed out the items that were vegan, 4 of them were (+rice)!! And not only that, they special cooked him his own entree size bowl of chana masala and roti for free!! They immediately took our drink orders and we're good about providing refills the entire time we were there (1.5+ hours). We went for the lunch buffet which is (at the time I'm writing this) only 12.99!!! There were about a dozen hot dishes/appetizers and they were all absolutely delicious; my personal favorite being the samosas and butter chicken. There wasn't naan on the buffet, instead they brought out as much as you wanted! We got butter and garlic, both super fresh and hot and soooo good, for free!!! It was just such an amazing experience, we will be returning as often...

We went on a Sunday at noon; the place was empty (!) but their food & service are 10/10! The buffet was perfectly stocked, all the pans were FULL, even the chiken tikka, although the steam table could have been hotter IMO... {EDIT: Happy to report that the buffet is now VERY hot! Good job, ToI!!} ...Everything I tried (which was everything offered) was just delicious. The vada (savory lentil "donuts") were something I had never had, and they were scrumptious. The salad bar items were just-cut fresh and of high quality. All four Indian desserts (gulab jamun; kheer - rice pudding; Gajar ka Halwa - carrot based sweet; and one I cannot recall) - were really good. The place is spotlessly clean, including the restrooms, and they even have HOT WATER, which is a first for Indian places in Murfreesboro(!) By the time we left, there were three other couples, but on such a nice sunny 60-degree day, I would have expected them to be slammed! Only TWELVE-NINETY-NINE for a 100% perfect Indian experience?!? We will be...

Awesome new Indian spot on the North Boro side! They just recently opened a few days ago and are still working out the kinks, but it was worth the wait!! We tried several different dishes and had such a superb meal! The grilled paneer tikka was fantastic and served on a sizzling fajita style plate with onions, peppers and limes. The chicken vindaloo was tasty and plentiful with chicken. The naans we tried (one chilli and one garlic) were fantastic and SO fresh and house made. The pappadam appetizer was nice and crunchy and served with 3 delicious dips. Now to the best: one of the single best Indian dishes we’ve tried (and we’ve been to Indian spots all over the world) was their Lamb Korma. That lamb was so tender, but the star of the show was the Korma sauce! It tasted so fresh, homemade, and soul-warming that I could (hygiene aside) SWIM in that sauce. Perfect! for a cold winter day. Very much like a southern gravy with Indian style spices. A complete home run. Thanks Taste of India! We’ll be back again soon!

My wife & I walked in about 1 hour before closing, and we were able to choose our seating w/ no wait. The menu is well-printed, easy to navigate, and well-sectioned out. The food was >>very<< good, the staff was very accommodating without being overbearing, and everything was clean (including the restrooms). The food did take a little bit to come out, but it was worth the wait and we were allowed to sit past closing time. We would def come back! This place is a good replacement to the Lao restaurant in the same space before it, and good competition to the other Indian restaurants in the area.

Excellent Indian restaurant! The mango chicken was a standout—perfectly balanced with sweet and savory flavors. The butter chicken was incredibly creamy, rich, and packed with authentic spices. The rice came in a generous portion, easily enough to share or savor solo. The mango lassi was delicious, and the cherry naan was subtly sweet with just the right hint of cherry. The service was top-notch too; our waitress was attentive, friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving exceptional Indian cuisine!
