We frequently use this Zaxbys location because of its location to our residence. Lately food from here has been on a decline on quality. Today we ordered chicken fingers (always do) and a few issues came from it.

  1. Zaxbys sauce in one container had a hole poked into it and nothing appeared to have caused it to happen in the box. We assume it happened in the kitchen and was not of concern for customer service.
  2. Our chicken had a smoke-like taste to it. After trying another piece per dish, it became more and more distinct and our family wondered if someone that was a smoker handled our food.
  3. All pieces of our chicken were dry and extra crispy. We have noticed this become more and more each time we revisit.
  4. As always, our call to the number provided via Receipt and Google is never answered within 3x trying to call. We will try again as the evening approaches (usually when phone is answered) to discuss with the manager an option. The very disappointing part is knowing what the outcome will be when we do have contact with management. Each time we call we are offered a remake of our order. Granted this is great and a part of customer service they will offer, but the quality coming out of a remake "should" be better than the original order and never succeeds original make. They state their policy is to never allow a monetary refund, only remake of food. I've known the Franchise Manager Robert for a brief time and have met the Owners Group that owns Fortress and Church st locations. My experience working with franchises similar to this is, the quality usually never gets better long term. It may short term but always comes back to same issues. I can't say this loud enough - CHECK your order BEFORE you leave! Placed an online order for my lunch, pick up from drive through. Only 2 things and it was literally spelled out for them. Gave me the wrong Quesadilla; I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch and they gave me the Fajita one with peppers which I can't stand, and put ice in my drink which I specifically asked for them to leave out. They only offer 2 Quesadilla's and still managed to give me the one I did NOT order. Then when I was handed my drink with ice in it, I gave it back and told him it was supposed to be No Ice. The kid at the window who handed it to me told me the ticked said Ice. I asked him to clarify and he again said yes, the ticked said Ice. You can see the ticket says No Ice. Unbelievable. Called when I got back to work and discovered their mistake. The lady who answered stated I could come back and they'd give me what I paid for. Well no, I only have a limited amount of time for lunch so I don't have time to drive there and back AGAIN! They have no accountability for wasting someone's time and causing someone to miss their lunch meal when they make a mistake. Shouldn't they bare the responsibility when the error is theirs? Should they not be the ones to correct their mistake? They sure won't send someone over to my office with the right food, or have Uber bring me what I paid for because Heaven forbid they be inconvenienced. I went to the drive-through and every single car in front of me had to pull over and wait. After 10 minutes, they brought out what was supposed to be a plain chicken sandwich meal with just cheese and bacon only with no Zack sauce and A chicken finger meal two Dr Peppers.. I waited so long I was just in a hurry to grab my food and go, but didn’t realize until I got home that they didn’t give me my two Dr Peppers. So I drove all the way back to the store to get two Dr Peppers and they offered to give me two free cookies, but they just gave me the drinks so I didn’t make a fuss. I came home and realized that my sandwich was covered in Zach sauce so I had to turn around and go back a second time to get my order right. When I arrived, the girl just handed me my sandwich and looked at me like it wasn’t a big deal and walked away Knowing I had been there not once but twice for an order that they screwed up. Didn’t even have the decency to comp my meal or even offer me a couple of cookies. The quality of workers these days has really gone downhill. I run my own business and I understand that it’s hard to find a good help but when a manager knows that somebody has severely inconvenienced, it’s their job to make sure that customer is taken care of. Won’t waste my time here any longer. They left one of my orders out of the bag last night (boneless wings meal) no worries, OWEN was super nice and took care of it. So I went back today (2/14) to pick up my order and they only gave me 5 boneless wings, no meal. So I pulled back around to tell them I was missing the fries, toast.. because I had initially paid for the meal and I only wanted what I had paid for.. Mercedes (the manager I believe) was very rude, pretty much throwing the rest of the meal out the window and shutting the window before I could even speak. It’s not my fault that you guys left my meal out to begin with, and again, not my fault that I wasn’t given the complete meal the second time around. I was very polite with you, you were an ass to me. Never again.

Trash! I went as soon as they opened! My toast wasn’t even toasted, I guess they started to cut the sandwich and said forget it so when I attempted to pick up half I noticed it wasn’t all the way cut so I tried to pull it apart and the entire sandwich just fell apart. The fries were cold and seemed old. People love Zaxby’s so they continue to come but this location needs to shut down for training and cooks. It’s horrible!

Trash! I went as soon as they opened! My toast wasn’t even toasted, I guess they started to cut the sandwich and said forget it so when I attempted to pick up half I noticed it wasn’t all the way cut so I tried to pull it apart and the entire sandwich just fell apart. The fries were cold and seemed old. People love Zaxby’s so they continue to come but this location needs to shut down for training and cooks. It’s horrible!
