As I have stated, I am not a tremendous fan of investing fast food. However, we all have our weaknesses in life! Combined with unexoected times in life where our hectic schedules demand fast food at times. I have avoided Taco Bell for over a decade, (despite it being a favorite of mine as a teenager). Somewhere along the lines, a plethora of aspects from the prices increasing drastically to learning some not so fun facts about a filling substitute used to make the meat go further, turned my stomach & attention elsewhere. I am thrilled my fiance suggested it and talked me into trying the new crunchy soft taco. 😋 it was absolutely delicious, priced fairly, (especially considering that it is rather large), the perfect consistency of not too soft while not being too hard in the center, and it was an instant love affair. One in which I have indulged in four times since he enlightened me to it's delectable taste. My only complaint was the wait in the drive thru, and that our order was incorrect despite being correct on our receipt. I was also disappointed that when we asked for mild sauce, it was met with an immature attitude similar to " how dare you bother me & expect me to reach into a tub to grab you some salsa." As we drove the 21 miles back home, we realized our order was incorrect & missing items, we received one packet of mild sauce despite our request for several for each order, and a complete lack of napkins or utensils for some of the order that required silverware. By the time we realized the issue, we had traveled too far to waste the gas to go back and correct it. I don't blame the staff though. Our county is engulfed with homeless drug addicts of all ages who refuse to work, combined with the impact of covid mandates & issues, they are extremely understaffed and simply doing the best they can when it is 2 or 3 tops working the entire store. Would still definitely recommend taco bell, as well as this location. PS. TRY THE SOFT SHELL HARD TACO! YOUR TASTE BUDS WILL...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and go buy your food at a restaurant and skip out on the Taco Bell. You will get faster service and better food for your money .a combo meal there is now over $10. I ordered a hard taco and a cheesy bean and rice burrito and waited to get my food for 30 to 40 minutes before asking the lady how much longer before my food was ready she shrugged her shoulders and said maybe about 20 minutes. I told her I’m just gonna leave and to give my food to somebody else who was waiting in line so they can actually eat. I remember it was not that long ago when I could go up to the counter and my food would be ready before I even got done paying for it. That’s not even a joke. I’ve eaten at this Taco Bell for about 20 years and have spent thousands of dollars there they even used to know me by name. I was there so much. Everything is ordered on a tablet now and there is no face-to-face interaction with people . Some of us actually like to talk to people and make connections or just like being social. I’m done with taco Bell now and I’ve learned my lesson. Also, they have six security cameras in that tiny dining room that I also found weird, I can’t imagine how much security you need in case somebody...
Read moreWould be a good place to grab a bite late, if only they could get their staff to work during their posted hours and not shut the place down an hour early. That used to be a terminable offense. Evidently fast food employees get instant tenure when they're hired now. Must be nice.
Update: Well, A+ for effort! You guys have really stepped up and I, for one, truly appreciate your hard work. This location has now changed its hours to 1 a.m. closing, bringing it closer to the operating hours of every other location. Also, they've become much better about keeping regular menu items available during those hours and not coincidentally "running out" of certain items just because it's late. I see a lot of new faces (employees) and, evidently, that was the fix. Hey, sometimes you've gotta start over again with a clean slate. Apparently, the ones that got canned applied to work at the Shell gas station since they can't seem to keep their doors open now.
Thank you, Murphy Taco Bell. Keep up the...
