On 2/25/2021 at approx. 7:00 pm, I drove from my house in the rain (20-25 min. roundtrip) because I was craving some Taco Bell tacos and a bean burrito. There was a long line but I had no problem waiting. The truck in front of me pulled up to the order box and was told something that caused him to drive off. I pulled up to order and the person said "Sir, at this time we are currently......." then there was silence for about 10 seconds. I then said "hello?" He then says, "Can I take your order" I said, "you were about to say something. What were you going to say?" He said, "nothing, just give me your order." So, I ordered 3 crispy tacos and a bean burrito. He said it would be $5 and change and to pull up. After waiting for approx. 10 min. I pull up to the window with credit card in hand and was told, "we are only taking cash at this time" I informed that I don't have cash. I informed that I have been very inconvenienced and that they should do the right thing and give me the food and let anyone else know up front that it's cash only. I was told again "sir, it's cash only" I informed, "I realize that but I have 30 minutes invested of my time for now NOTHING and as a company you should do the right thing and give me the food. He then shut the window and got a manager. About a minute later a woman aggressively opened the sliding window and in a firm condescending tone said (exact words) "IS THERE A PROBLEM!?" I told her there was because I have driven for 20 min. and waited in line and told at the window you can only take cash. I think you should do the right thing and give me the food I'm more than happy to pay for but can't because your CC system is down. She told me, and I can't remember her exact words, that it's not happening. I got upset and reacted by stating then I'm not moving from this line. She didn't try to de-escalate or anything. She immediately told me that she was calling the police and slammed the window. I NEVER give bad reviews. Look at the reviews I do give. I am the type of person that gives good reviews when I'm happy to reward businesses that deserve it. When I decided that I was going to give this well deserved bad review, I wasn't surprised to see the 3.9 rating. The assistant manager that talked to me needs some management training. I have managed several businesses in my time. The right thing to do would of been to give me the food that was going to be thrown away anyway and inform staff to let everyone else know that the CC system is down and it's cash only. Read moreWith sorrow and sadness, I have to give this single star to my local restaurant. I don't have any problem with the food. Food is always what I expected. Recently, in my last four orders, either one or two items were missing. Each time I called them and talked with the manager, he/she were polite and humbly wanted to make it right.
But the reason I am giving them one star, because, one or two times, you can tolerate, Four times mistake for the same person, that's too much.
During this Covid time, in order to feed the hungry children in a rush, we ordered food from them. I don't want to go back to the restaurant again for $2 taco or nachos. I am not sure whether they do this mistake due to the large orders. In my family of five, the orders have varieties.
Anyway, THIS KIND OF REPEATED MISTAKE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IF IT HAPPENS FOUR TIMES. I will give them one more chance and if I experience the mistake, I have to let this vendor go sorrowly. I have seen them when they first established at Murphy. It will be hard for me to let them go, but if I had to, I will.

I tried multiple times to eat inside around 9:00 P.M. & the doors were already locked but they continue to advertise that they are open until midnight every night & 3:00 A.M. on the weekend lol???? Straight liars!!!! So then I sat for OVER 30 minutes in the drive thru only to get my Deluxe cravings box with nothing correct. My ground beef chalupa Shell was super hard/burnt & I asked for no tomatoes/no sour cream but they put it on anyways & actually added sour cream to my regular Taco which isn’t even suppose to come with sour cream at all. My salsa verde burrito was suppose to be no creamy jalapeño sauce but they still put it on & gave me a half cup only of cold queso for my chips. Unbelievably bad location!! If you value your time/money/stomach DONT EAT HERE EVER. I literally threw up when I got back home. I’m posting this so I can SAVE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE from throwing up 🤢🤢🤮🤮after you eat at the Murphy Taco Bell. DO NOT EAT AT THIS TACO BELL IF YOU DONT LIKE BEING SICK.
