This MERKATO Ethiopian grocery and cafe is one of the best stores I have seen so far. It is well organized, well maintained and totally clean and very inviting place to dine in and shop the traditional Ethiopian cuisines and all the stuffs.

The dining room has been well designed and replicated the traditional aesthetic nature of the ancient Ethiopia!

It's conveniently located in the center of the north texas neighboring cities Allen, Murphy, Wiley, Richardson and Plano.

The authentic Ethiopian dished are being served from fresh, mouth warming and well done here.

I discovered Ethiopian food in one of my travels and is now one of my favorite foods (and as a world traveler and foodie, it’s saying something). This quaint place has splendid Ethiopian food close to home. I dare say it should also be considered a nutritionist’s paradise. I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is absolutely amazing. You will find newbies and regulars to Ethiopian food here! Merkato Grocery and Cafe never disappoints!
