Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Murphy

I just shared my visit with Zaxby's in Blairsville to the Murphy Zaxbys manager next to the BP gas station. I believe his name was Ian. His jacket was covering his name tag a little. I explained to the GM the situation we had at the Blairsville restaurant and he assured me it wasn't on purpose. He claimed they were probably short staffed, but I saw how many people were there, they weren't short staffed. He still assured me there must have been a misunderstanding and apologized. Murphy's dine in was not open but you could see the staff was struggling so I understand. Even when the GM was obviously very busy he gave me his undivided attention. Very respectful, cheerful and had a sense of humor. I ordered my To-Go order inside. I was expecting a long wait. I had the order within 2 minutes. They had cars wrapped around the building so far people leaving couldn't get out. It was crazy how fast the food was going out the window. Something worth mentioning is how clean their food and restaurant is. Masks were worn, gloves weren't, but he did wash his hands before and after he took my order. Every time I come here, my chicken is perfectly cooked, and you can tell that it was cooked in clean oil. It was so white today, it didn't look done. Ian assured me the chicken was cook through. I didn't believe him but he split a tender from my box in half and showed me. There was no pink. He then replaced the tender for me. I stand corrected. I asked him why it was so white, and he said that food doesn't go out of his restaurant if it isn't "picture perfect". Just goes to show how much pride they take in the appearance and taste of their food. It really makes a difference. Try the Murphy Zaxbys instead and you will taste the difference. The absolute worst experience ever! We had a group of 10 people and we all got sick from there. When we first got there the smell of inside the building was nasty as all get out. The bathrooms were disgusting as well. We stood at the counter with them just looking at us for 5 minutes as if they was annoyed they had a big group of people come inside. After ordering an over $60 meal, she didn't give us our cups and we asked her for them and she ignored us and started with someone else's order! We stood there waiting and waiting. Then we get some of our food(our daughter's) it was 5 boneless wings that was supposed to have BBQ sauce on them but didn't. I walked back up there with the food and she looked at me and looked away. When she did acknowledge us she was very ill and took it and handed it back to the cooks. They put the BBQ on them and sat them back up in the window and it sat there for another 5 mins before the person that was ordering told her she needed to go ahead and give us our food back because it's sitting there ready. We also ordered 2 frozen strawberry lemonades and we had to tell her 3 times we didn't get them. Then she made them wrong and got mad she had to remake them! It was an absolute mess all around! First time at a Zaxbys. Sat in long drive thru line and ordered signature meal for me and kid chicken fingers for my dog. After paying, I was asked to pull over and wait for my order - no problem. When they brought my order, she asked if I had the kids meal and I said yes but I also ordered the signature meal. She assured me it was all " in there ". I believed her and left without checking further. I drove to the park 10 minutes away and discovered I didn't get my sandwich. I drove back and went inside to straighten it out. I didn't know what I did with my receipt but I brought the food I did get back in with me. Fries by now are stone cold and I really only came to try the chicken. First, it took ten minutes to even be acknowledged and I had my dog sitting out in the car. After explaining.my situation, the rep looked at me like she didn't believe me and wanted the receipt as proof. I said I didn't know where it was and I got another doubtful look. Who would come back with their sack of food and lie about a sandwich?? I was tired of trying to get my chicken sandwich, everything else was cold , so I said keep all of it and I left.
