The Point After — Restaurant in Murray

Great food and drinks! I'm pescatarian (vegetarian but eat fish) and they have several options for food. Great fish and chips! I love their vegetarian black bean burger. Has a roasted chili as a topping. All the drinks you would expect at a bar. Pretty okay beer selection. Wait staff and bouncers are always helpful, smiling, and seem to enjoy working there. Great outdoor patio with coverage from the sun and a fire pit. Also has an an area of the patio that you can bring your dog in to hang out while you're here. Must have a current license and rabies vaccination proof WITH YOU. I come here a lot for UFC fight nights. There is NO COVER! Most other sports bars charge a cover, here they don't. From out of town, walk in and ask for an NHL game between two Original Six teams. Apparently the owner was sitting at the end of the bar because without so much as a glance, I was told they don't have that channel. Now, I hate to generalize in any sort of way, but everything about Salt Lake is minor league, so I can't say that I was surprised. Frankly, the bar rail was populated with a bevy of fat old men who couldn't find their d* unless someone cut it off and handed it to them, but at some point it might be nice if this s*hole city I'm forced to visit a few times a calendar year might take the training wheels off. I'm reading some of these reviews and my guess is if you've never crawled out from behind the Zion Wall to know what a real sports bar is in a real sports town,...

It seems like it's full of a bunch of regulars that don't realize it's a sports bar. The food is very substandard. I've been coming here for years but I'm always disappointed. It's always disappointing that fact they close earlier than posted If you like getting mean mugged and given the evil eye by the regulars this is the place for you. Unless you're a local who comes here a lot and understands the local culture, I would stay away from this place.
