Dunkin' — Restaurant in Murrysville

I come to this location anywhere from 2-5 times per week. There's a few things to know about this location:

DO NOT COME ON SATURDAY MORNINGS...unless you have plenty of time. Dunkin' is always extremely busy on Saturday mornings. I have seen the drive through backed up around the parking lot to Rt. 22 and the line at the door on Saturdays.

This location is combined with a Sunoco gas station, but it is not a convenience store. It is the full on Dunkin' experience.

They have recently hired a LOT of new workers. Service isn't slow per se, but a lot of the new workers are teenage/early twenties and lack people skills. Big time. Before they hired new people, I had a pretty good relationship with the workers. Now most of the time I order my coffee and go because the newbies aren't much for establishing relationships, even if it is just over a cup of coffee.

Kerry, Bonnie, and Jen are the nicest, friendliest people that work there, and they make good coffee! I always enjoy talking to Kerry in particular. She's always friendly. There's also a younger blond guy who is nice and makes good drinks, but I've never seen his name tag.

Yes, the dining area is a little messy. There's usually a few dirty tables and some debris on the floor from the morning rush, but every time I've been there during a lull, someone is out in the dining area tidying up. They're just busy.

Order a medium Iced Cold Brew with 3 cream and 2 pumps of caramel swirl...it's delicious. Or, if you're craving the seasonal Butter Pecan, get equal parts hazelnut and caramel in your drink. Most of the standard drinks are too sugary and milky for my taste, so I always get one less pump of syrup or cream in my drink, and it's perfect.

If you ever see a group of men sitting in the back of the dining area, do yourself a favor and hang out. They are the most interesting people in Murrysville, from their opinions on Donald Trump to Pizza.

Kids get a free donut or a few free donut holes at this location.

They have the best hashbrowns, but if you like them crispy, ask for them to be toasted a bit longer. Delicious.

And for everyone moaning about the parking...if you can drive, it's not an issue. Just be aware of your surroundings and be patient. You will be just fine. Yes, it does get full and it can get crazy, but it's no worse than driving on William Penn Highway...

I had ordered 2 dozen donuts with specific colors for my son's birthday party 5 days or so in advance. The woman that took my order was SO helpful and took my order in great detail. I picked them up through the drive-thru quick and easy. Unfortunately when I got home and opened the boxes the icing on 6+ had literally started to melt off and quite a few others were the incorrect colors. Feeling unsatisfied I called to inform the store. They had offered to make us a dozen more to replace the wrong/sloppy ones. When we were unable to pick them up before our party begin the woman I had been speaking with (Kathy) offered to deliver them to our home. I told her it was unnecessary but she insisted. I kid you not that wonderful woman DELIVERED a new dozen donuts to us with a complimentary gift card. Kathy/this Dunkin Donuts went ABOVE AND BEYOND to correct the situation! We were so thankful for their kindness and stellar customer service. We were already lifetime customers but this cemented it for us. Thank you Murrysville DD, you all are awesome!

there was a miscommunication at the drive-thru. I recognize it was partly my fault as I wasn't sure what the drink was named. the person taking my order thought I wanted a frozen drink but I wanted a hot one. she also didn't understand the kind of donut I wanted. I had to wait several minutes and when I looked in the window I watched 3 employees messing around with a blender and laughing. I was the only one in the Drive-Thru line and I believe there were no customers in the store. they began remaking whatever they had in the blender and I realized it must be for me. I tapped on the window and let them know that I wanted a hot drink. when I finally got the correct order I drove for about 2 minutes and then noticed there was a hair on the lid to my coffee. I turned around to go back and told them I wanted a refund. they refunded me the amount for the hot drink but I had to ask to be refunded for the Frozen drink I was charged for. I was at having a really bad day and just wanted a treat. Maybe they were all having...
