From the time I rolled in the ladies were eager to greet, answer questions and make us feel welcome. I had my special needs daughter with me and they even tried to include her in conversation. Food came out quickly (but may have been delayed had our order not been placed before the table of 10 that was there for lunch.)

It was a bit stuffy in there. I was warm by the end of the meal. There a several tables open at noon but I feel like a weekend supper meal could be full. Worth the wait but I'm not sure where you would wait.

The pizza was delicious, the lasagna fantastic, the salads weren't fancy but at least they were priced accordingly. We did not fuss with the waitress about the chicken alfredo my daughter ordered. It was bland, almost like it had no Parmesan in it. Like straight up cream. The chicken was boiled? Zero color and the flavor I don't know, I only had the noodles as I had no interest in the chicken. My husband's lasagna was good. Maybe a little too herby but that is personal preference. The pizza has a good sauce and that was good because sauce can make or break a pizza. All of the helping were plentiful and we had leftovers for home.

See my notes below about wheelchairs.

I left the review at a 5 star because we will just chose not the alfredo-style dishes if we eat here again and I will chose the elevator not...

Had a small portion of the chicken alfredo, and it did not disappoint! The breadstick was nothing amazing but went well with the Alfredo sauce. The salad that came with the meal was small with only lettuce and cheese - normal for a meal with a starter salad.

The chicken was a bit dry (seems boiled or simmered in water) but turned out great with the alfredo sauce - nothing to complain about for sure!

Fed a family of five for less than $80, tip included -for the quality of food, that is an amazing deal!

Great atmosphere and very good staff. I noticed right away that the place smelled amazing when we entered. The waitress was great but seemed rushed (it was a busy night, so no worries about that).

Will come back!

Also- our table neighbors had a cheese pizza - it...

Friendly, helpful waitstaff. Relaxed decor with exposed stone. Dark at first, since there's almost no natural light, but once your eyes adjust, it's not bad. There seems to be a nice variety of drinks. There is a bar, booth and table seating.

The salad was simple, but nice nonetheless. The food wasn't extraordinary, but I can't fault much other than a lack of presentation and perhaps a higher quality of ingredients would improve the experience.

They do have a small section on the menu for gluten free options (three items), which is more than many can say. The waiter did ask if I needed the food to be truly gluten free, which made me feel more secure in the preparation of that dish. He also made a point to keep the non-gluten-free items separate as he brought...

I travel frequently for work and enjoy finding great local restaurants along the way. The Underground is definitely one I’ll be adding to my list of favorites. The pizza was some of the best I’ve had, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s literally underground, so make sure to look for the stairs when you arrive! Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.
