Musser Public Library — Attraction in Muscatine

I love my local library. I'm able to use my library card online to check out ebooks and read on my kindle. I love that our local library belongs to a larger network and am able to check out a book from libraries in that network and pick up at the local library. The kids section is fun and inviting for children of all ages. The basement is cozy and the meeting rooms that can be used by the public are great. Stepping into this library I'm reminded of my childhood when my mother would bring us to check out books, audiobooks, puzzles, movies and more. Later I remember attending a class with my mom so she could learn to use our home computer. Our library has also hosted free tax preparation in the past for low income individuals. Your local library is one of the rare places that literally has something for everyone and we are so blessed to have such a great library...

Honestly a great place to bring your family! Great selection of movies, books, etc. Great spacing for social distancing and privacy, large rooms available for meetings and what not. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful-they all seem intelligent and happy with their jobs!! (It helps too when they remember who and your children are and things you've inquired about-which they do!!) If they don't have something they will order it for you and it gets to you rather quick!! Couldn't ask for a better library!! (They already got a new building-the staff deserve raises!!!) P.S. & NO I'm not related to any of them-just REALLY...

Great place to check out a book or read your email. I was just visiting. This was three years ago. I have been 2 or 3 times since they moved to the current location, and I think the new building is well designed, has plenty of light coming from outside, and rised up some three levels to accommodate the reduced area. Three weeks ago, on Saturday, we went while raining and picked up some books, check email, and chat briefly with some staff...
