Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Muscle Shoals

Hello. Very dissatisfied. Went thru the drive thru . Sit in line for 15 mins before placing order. Places order at 4.12 The order was 2 shakes. Two cups of ice cream one scoop per cup. 12$ and some change. Sit in line for almost 30 mins. I asked why it took 30 min at the window the employee said sorry we have to get the ice cream out if get freezer. Shut the window. Tasted my shake it was basically half melted and was cooked and cream ans had a watered tasted to it.

Not to mention we seen an employee tote the shakes up against her shirt with no lids. Was willing to over look that and the time and the rudeness. Until my Shake wasn't worth the mess. Turned around went in. Asked for another shake. The boy working when asked to get more ice cream from the freezer.. remarked man that freezer is cold. I said don't worry about it I will pass. Then that said no wait we will fix it. After a few more minutes of waiting I asked for monet back.

After another 5 mins of wait for the money back I left .. without money or ice cream. The staff was lazy .rude. The place was nasty. The service was bad. Literally the worst experience at that or any jacks ever. If I was a manager there I'd be ashamed. If I was the owner I'd be very mad.

Messes can be cleaned ,orders can be corrected. Customer service can overcome lots. At least teach that. Sorry for the rant. Things...

Arrived and placed my order at the drive-thru at 11:32pm today (per my receipt). Ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches. Was told that they only had 1 prepared and it would be 10 minutes for the 2nd. No worries, I’ll take the one chicken sandwich combo w/fries and a double cheeseburger and a single order of Mac and cheese. The line was backed up from the window, but moved relatively smoothly. Once I got to the window I was told to pay and then told that I needed to pull forward and they’d bring out my food when it was ready, so I did. And waited and waited. Finally, an employee brought out my food and walked to another car to deliver there’s. I checked my bag and everything was there except my fries so as the employee walked back by my car I politely got her attention and said that I was missing my fries. She then stated that I’d probably have to come inside because they were short-handed as she walked away from me and back inside. I stayed in my car because I wasn’t quite sure what she wanted me to do. She came back a short moment later with a bag of fries. As she handed them to me I said thank you! And got no response. I’m new To Alabama and new to Jack’s 😊 My first experience with Jack’s was in Alabaster and that burger was easily one of the best top ten burgers I have ever had. So when I was driving to Muscle Shoals, hungry and I saw Jack’s in Sheffield, I thought YUM!!! I am going to stop quickly and get something for us for dinner. BOY WAS I WRONG 😞 I placed my order in the drive thru, it wasn’t complicated (2 burgers, 2 fries, & 2 sweet teas). There were two cars in front of me. I waited in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes. It was almost 5, I thought ok well at least my dinner will be HOT & FRESH!! WRONG AGAIN 😞 As I drove up to the window there was no apology for the wait, NADA. Ok well at least this burger was worth the wait I thought. NOPE!!! I bit into a cold dry GROSS BURGER!!! it had everything on it, it’s as if they made the burger that they wanted and nothing like I ACTUALLY ORDERED!!! I was so DISAPPOINTED 😔 the burger was YUCK, fries were dry cold and over salted that you gagged trying to swallow them. I definitely WON’T be going back!!
